Thank you! We actually did film together and it’s going live today. She looks great and I love wishing lives really nice country. We had such a great visit sightseeing and just catching up talking laughing hugging it was wonderful. we are actually on our way home right now. Left Myrtle Beach yesterday and early this morning. We left Virginia and now we’re on the highway.

I really was surprised Jean I couldn’t believe it. I had forgotten that I’ve even taken that photo until that morning, which was actually April 3 when I was looking in the mirror and I thought that side of my face looked better and then I looked in my magnifying mirror and I was shocked because I remember seeing all those crisscrosses before.

Monika, it is very seldom that I see a difference by people that show before and after photos, but I can see a big improvement in your skin. I bought my Nira Pro the end of last year and I am very happy with it. Yes it is expensive, but looking at my face in the mirror now and seeing the big difference, it is worth it. Have a great day!

I totally agree! I often look at before and after and see very little difference or sometimes I see the fact that the after picture looks like it had been doctored, so I’m always skeptical. But both these pictures while maybe the lighting was slightly different because of the time of day were in the same spot same mirror with no make up and untouched. I’m really shocked at the difference.

I don’t know if it would do the same thing or age spots. I really don’t have very many of them. I am now using it on my upper lip and one thing I have noticed is that it has made me peel in that area which I think is very good.

I have seen many good b&a on the nira precision laser but the result pics on the nira pro are less impressive. I have (and love) the precision but I doubt I’ll try the pro.

Wow I can see the difference, wonder what and if it would work on marionette lines. Are you going to use it in other areas now. oh my gosh that gadget is so expensive, thank goodness they sent it to you but it’s a lot cheaper than doing laser treatments every year too. You look fantastic, I heard you’ve been outdoors walking a lot and have dropped weight, what are you eating, how much have you lost, love love your tan, I’m jealous.🥰

I am definitely going to keep using it. It takes a while because I’d have the precision and not the pro so it doesn’t cover as much areas but I’m working on my upper lip as well to see if I can see a difference there. Jay and I actually left the day after Christmas to go on a trip south in our RV. So January and February we were in Saint Augustine Florida and we went all over the place and visited Marlene and went on a cruise. we did a bunch of different things. It was cold though!!! March and half of April we were in Myrtle Beach and we stayed Oceanside and even though I did wear hats all the time and lots of sunblock. I did get a bit of a tan, not super dark but some color. every day I walked the beach. Some days it was just a little over 2 miles and some days it was over 4 miles and almost every night Jay and I went swimming in the pool so we’ve been super super active. I started to try to diet back in November 2022. It was very very slow going most of 2023 I think by the end of that year I had only lost about 22 pounds. 2024 I was super active being that was warmer climate could go out and do more so in total now I think I’m close to 40 pounds. I basically hardly ever drink, I watch what I eat. I basically eat anything I want, but I’m more conscious about my total calorie intake. So I closely monitor my active calorie burn and compare it to my calorie intake and try to keep my intake lower than when I’m actually burning some days. I’m successful some days I’m not. It’s been a slow slow process and I think it’s better being slow like this, especially as old as I am.

@@MonikaBeautyandLifestyle Congratulations, 40lbs is a lot of weight, I can see it in your face and your upper body on your videos. It gets so hot here in Texas, can’t be outside at temps in the high 90’s to lower 100’s, it’s just around the corner. I keep telling myself I need to walk on our treadmill and I keep putting it off. I need to lose at least 25-30lbs, I hate the way I feel, I feel bloated everyday no matter what I try to eat, my weight gain has been all in my middle and hip area, I never use to gain weight just in one area, very depressing. Getting our age is not fun, I’m 70 as well. I’m so happy you guys are finally able to take time for yourselves and do the things you love, have you both finally retired.🥰🥰🥰

That’s pretty well how I felt in November 2022. It was the day before Thanksgiving and I looked at myself in the mirror and I tried on what I wanted to wear and nothing fit at all. It was tight and I said this is ridiculous. And that’s the point that I started And then of course it’s so slow going that you become discouraged and that happened a couple of times but by the time I left to go on my trip, I started to feel really good because I had already lost 20 pounds and I could see my clothes were fitting different and then last 3 1/2 months the rest started to come off, but it’s my physical activity now I’m home and I’m really worried so gonna be hard to keep it up.

@@BlingyBea I have. dieted so many times in my life that at this point I won't deny myself something I really want and love. So this past year and half it's been calorie counting but. I am not obsessive about it. I might have. a protein shake in the morning with added frozen fruit and collagen. Depending on when I had breakfast, I might skip lunch. We eat dinner early and I try not to eat after 7pm... no snacking especially. Last night we went out to eat w/friends we haven't seen since last Dec. Chinese food and I ate a lot less then I would have in the past. I drank a lot of water and we ate right around 5pm. I also had an alcoholic beverage, the 1st in probably 6 weeks. When I got home I walked in place to meet my exercise goal for the day. Hopefully now that I am home I will walk outside everyday and or go to the gym. I am looking for someplace where I can swim in a heated pool. I miss my daily swimming.
