Niramish Aloo Phulkopir Rasa (not Dalna )| Bengali Potato Cauliflower Thick Curry | Foodie's hut
Rasa pronounces as " Raw-Sa". Aloo Phulkopir Rasa is a thicker, slightly spicier version of the famous Bengali Aloo Kopir Dalna, also known as Phulkopir Dalna or Fulkopir Dalna. Aloo -Phulkopir Torkari used to be a winter delicacy in Bengali kitchen. Aloo means Potato, and Phulkopi means cauliflower.

এই ফুলকপির রসা দেখলেই মনে হয় শীত চলে আসছে যদিও দেশের বাইরে এমনকি দেশেও এখন সারা বছর ফুলকপি পাওয়া কিন্তু সেই স্বাদ টা পাওয়া যায় না।আমাদের এখানে (কানাডা তে) আসতে আসতে শীত পরছে তাই আজকেই বানাবো তোমার রেসিপি তে সেই শীতের স্বাদ মনে করে।

তোমাদের ওখানে বোধ হয় এই সময়েও ফুলকপির স্বাদ ভালোই । এখানে মা সেদিন কিনল, যাচ্ছেতাই খেতে! শীতকাল ছাড়া ভালো কপি পাওয়া দায়! তোমার রান্নাটা শীতের জন্য তোলা থাক।

@@droy6736 নাহ, তা নয়। শীতকালের কপির স্বাদ দারুন। কিন্তু অন্য শহরেও ভালো পাওয়া যায়। সবজি seasonal হলে তার স্বাদ বেশি ভালো হয়। তবে গ্রামের সবজির তুলনাই নেই!

@@droy6736 তা তো বটেই! কলকাতার সবজির কাছে আমেরিকার সবজির স্বাদ একেবারেই কমতি! কিন্তু আমি কলকাতার সবজিও কিনি। আবার বাড়ি গেলে ওখানেও সবজি কিনি। গ্রামে গেলে ওখানে তো এমনিই পাই, ঘরেই চাষ। কলকাতা আসলে জানাবেন। আপনাদের গ্রামের টাটকা সবজি খাওয়াব।
