I ripped this using my phone and a usb interface. The turntable was a Audiotechnica at-lp60. The only thing I did to the tracks was apply normalization.

I didn't realize how good this album was. I revisited Nirvana after becoming a guitar player myself because I had always heard that Kurt was not a very good guitar player. Well, it's technically true, but he was good at writing catchy riffs in my opinion. He did a lot with a little bit and I respect that.
@jwardbass44525 жыл бұрын
I never thought he was a sub-par guitarist or singer, not many can do what he was able to do. Above all else he was a great songwriter.

This album is the most raw and underground of Nirvana, incesticide is claimed to be by trendies who want to sound cool but this is the true raw grunge sound. PS - Nevermind is the best song writing still, even if trendies like to hate on it too. It's a close tie for me for Bleach and Nevermind, with incesticide coming last for production (in Utero is great too).

Kurt could really crank out stuff. Those chords, Riffs, power throbs, etc. God, I wished he was still around!! HOW MUCH MORE HE Could have done! & the band as well. I'm sure eventually they might have split and done solo stuff etc. But, they eventually get back together like most bands do. Of course, some people would argue we wouldn't have the Foo Fighters etc. But, how can we ever tell? I think the band was on a precipice of bigger things to come.
