I moved to Washington a few years ago, I knew nothing about him, but my dad knew all about him an filled me in on what happened, we went to his house, sat on that same muddy bank under the bridge, sat right next to his memorial, man shits tough to think about.. another legend gone... Poor guy never got to grow old... Never get to see his kid have kiddos of her own, just what kinda bullshit is that ya know... I'm 110% sure his wife offed him for the money an fame🤷

Kurt 27 years on, my 15 year old son on going through dark times not helped by the pandemic, has been inspired by you to play my Acustic guitar and I bought him a an electric guitar. He plays Nirvana songs now every day, and he also plays white stripes, chilli peppers and Blur tracks. But it's Kurt's poster on his wall. My son was a lost soul, but now he smiling again. He plays almost every day to me, to show me his progress and ask what I think. I am so proud. Kurt I salute you where ever you are now.

30 years... my mom was still in high school and still remembers in detail waking up to open mad TV and find out of Kurt's passing. Mom always stayed grunge, raised us on his music. I am 20, style and dye my hair like Kurt since I was 16 . I always look forward to visiting home and listen to music with Mom. I wonder if he ever realized the impact he would have in our lives and relationships.

Fun fact: 23 years after this video came out, Dave was asked to play "Blackbird" at the Oscars for the In Memoriam segment. Since Dave dont have an idea how to dress up for an occasion like the Oscars, they assigned him a stylist. He was introduced to the stylist named Kelsey. Young woman with blond hair and big blue eyes. First thing she told Dave was "we met before" but he cant place her in his memory. Then she said "I was the little girl in Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box video.

I liked this a lot more than Smells Like Teen Spirit. This really showed off what Kurt was capable of in terms of songwriting. Incredible melody. There's something soulful about it, but something sinister about it too that I really like

You nailed it... When I saw this video when it first came out I too was mesmerized but there was a chill to it too. I told my friend who was with me at the time that something was going to happen. I said that either something great was going to happen with Cobain or we'd see him dead inside a month. I still don't know what it was about that video 😒
