Awesome video! I personally got the 2 CD set. I would’ve loved to have gotten the 5 CD but I knew it wouldn’t happen because I’m a broke teenager lol. At the end of the day I’m just happy to finally own a copy of my favorite album!

I think I made the right choice for the money I had. I went with the vinyl and the 10 inch instead of the two CD set. The big sets were out of my price range but would love to have either the 5 CD or the LP set.

I think there was a gatefold prior to this vinyl. The 2013 45rpm mixes had a gatefold. That’s the edition I have.

They actually did a tri-fold jacket on In Utero vinyl for the 20th anniversary and also a gatefold jacket for Bleach by sub pop for the 20th anniversary back in 2009.

Man, these are really cool! It must be a trip to listen to these songs and you realise that you’ve played the guitar some of these songs were recorded on!

I have the 20th anniversary super deluxe editions of both Nevermind and In Utero, the WTLO boxed set, the best of comp, and I’ve owned the CD formats of all of their “official” material since they were originally released in the early 90s, but I just cannot justify purchasing anymore reissues of these same albums for the sake of a some additional live concert recordings. I think I’m a pretty huge Nirvana fan, but my fantardedness has its limits!! I did, however, just buy Michael Azerrad’s annotated reissue of his Come As You Are bio. Were you planning on picking a copy of that up? For the sake of not turning this comment into a novel, I won’t go into detail, but it’s overall a worthy pick-up, if you’re interested in how Azerrad’s updates thoughts/opinions on the interviews and personal hang-outs he conducted with Kurt & Nirvana way back when.

Do you think you would ever do a what if series like if Kurt Cobain did The color and the shape? Think it would be a interesting series

i know there's a bunch of extras and stuff, but i wish there would be a reasonable version of the 5 cd collection that wasn't stupid expensive. i dont need reproduction tour laminates and stuff, i just want the discs of music and an insert and the original art really.... it all looks super cool though, so good for anyone who got it.

Did you pick yourself up a copy of Michael Azerrad’s annotated, “amplified” re-issue of his 1993 Nirvana bio, Come As You Are? I received a preordered copy off Amazon early last week. I think it’s mostly worth it, if you’re interested in how the last 30 years have altered Azerrad’s perspective on Kurt & Nirvana.

Why don’t you wanna get the vinyl boxset?

I paid 185 EUR at Amazon, the sound quality of these 2 Live shows (the main reason i bought this boxset) isn't as good as I expected for the money. Its a shame that bootlegs delivers better sound quality than this big company and AI failed in my opinion. But I hear music on Speakers not on smartphone.

Please don't tell me the new mix is brickwalled...

is it just me or do kurt’s vocals on those live takes sound super pitchy? i’m not sure if they tried pitch correcting him but he is way out of tune in a lot of those songs. maybe that’s just how he was live, sounds great still!

hey, i'm a collector and a completist.... but this, nooooo, i want to buy the 5cd deluxe edition but no, not for this price , ....... not a remastered edition wich 95% of most people don't hear the diffrence, just 2 2 live shows and a few random live tracks..... no i don't want to hear kurt screw up milk it .... give us the live rio show .... maby i just buy it then but this no waste of money.... in my opinion and maby greatest fan of my country

Wow! Not sure what's worst. The fact that the 5 extra tracks aren't on the cd (instant epic fail) or the stupid cardboard packaging thats just gonna get ruined years down the road. Don't worry. Just take the cds out and put them in something more protective (same goes for the box set) And anyone else cringe at the cheap 10" sleeve included with it. And, why exactly are the songs in that order? Noisy, mellow / mellow, mellow, noisy? Is it because its chronological order or something? Maybe i just like my Nirvana to be ugly and in your face. But oh well. Not my problem. It just seems like such a weak attempt at thinking it all the way through. Maybe the 40th anniversary edition will be better.

Most unnecessary set ever. Same mixes as the 20 years edition. Regardless to say that almost every song in better SQ is out there and not on the set .. hopefully Ludwig wont harm anything feom now on
