Here we present an altered version of the tribute trailer that our team created for the birthday of Kurt Cobain.
We had to delete the original verson due to copyright reasons but you can watch it on our Facebook.
This time we made the music ourselves, I hope you liked it.
Please note that this is fanmade, we ask you for your understanding. We were just trying to imagine what about the movie or series could be and how Joe Anderson would look like as Kurt Cobain.
Unfortunately, our capacities were limited, so the trailer became very dark and depressing. It’s became more about the character’s tragedy rather than “the path of the legend” like we were going to do.

Kurt Donald Cobain (February 20, 1967 - c. April 5, 1994) was an American musician. He was the lead singer and guitarist of the grunge band Nirvana, which also included bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Dave Grohl.Cobain was born in the city of Aberdeen, Washington. His parents divorced when he was seven years old. During his sophomore year in high school, Cobain began living with his mother in Aberdeen. In late 1986 Cobain moved into an apartment. At this time he often travelled to Olympia to go to rock concerts.Cobain met Love in 1990. Love began pursuing Cobain in 1991. He married her in 1992 in Hawaii after she found out that she was pregnant with his child, Frances Bean Cobain. In 2002, some of Cobain's private journal entries were published in a book called Journals.Cobain was very influential in creating what came to be known as grunge music. Grunge musicians pushed back against music they saw commercial and shallow. Grunge was a reaction against 1980s stadium rock and metal bands that were more concerned with appearance than sound. During the early days of the band, Kurt was very unhappy with the band's inability to draw in large crowds that lead the band to rotate drummers on almost a regular basis. After some time, the band settled on Chad Channing, whom they recorded their first album with Sub Pop Records in 1989, titled Bleach. Nirvana music, nirvana song, smells like teen spirit. However after the recording of this album, Cobain became unhappy with Channing's drumming style which eventually lead them to let him go and hire Dave Grohl in his place. The band didn't return to the studio to record again until April of 1990 where they recorded the song "Polly" that would later appear on their next studio album, Nevermind. From May to June 1991, the band would return to the studio once again to record the album that would change the Seattle music scene forever. Nevermind was then released later in the year, featuring the single "Smells like Teen Spirit" that became a hit song upon its release. It was this album that pushed Michael Jackson's Dangerous album off the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Along with the lead single "Smells like Teen Spirit" the album also produced three other top hit singles "Come As You Are", "Lithium", and "In Bloom". Nirvana bleach. Upon the release of the album on September 24, 1991, the album launched the grunge scene into the mainstream, opening the pathway for bands such as Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden. During this period, Nirvana was considered the "Flagship Band of Generation X" and Cobain found himself reluctantly anointed by the media as the generation's "spokesman." Cobain's discomfort with the media attention prompted him to focus on the band's music and, smells like teen spirit song, smells like teen spirit music, VEVO believing their message and artistic vision to have been misinterpreted by the public, challenged the band's audience with its third studio album "In Utero".

Nirvana is still my favourite band but I rarely listen to their albums anymore because it brings me back to that dark state of depression from my teens and early 20s, when I was angsty and felt no one understood the real me. I ended up going from emo/scene kid to grunge as I got more and more into drugs and dated an older guy (I was 18 and he was 27) who was a romantic and musician. I've never been with anyone since that knew me so well, but he's still a drug addict, and I'm recovering. People used to call us Kurt and Courtney... but to me that's not a compliment for obvious reasons..

@@jimmyjames3819 29 but I grew up with my step Dad listening to the Chillies, Nirvana, etc got really into old school music like Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Neil Young, etc in my teens as I moved from my home country to a small town in Canada and that's what my Uncle always listened to. Kinda weird going from emo/screamo to old school, but it really gave me an appreciation and better understanding of music. When I moved back home I met a 27 year old that was into 90s grunge as that's what he had grown up with; I was 18 at the time and we shared a similar taste in music. He introduced me to the Pixies and Sonic Youth and around the same time I had friends who listened to Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Sublime, Silverchair etc As I got into my late teens I stopped dressing like an emo/scene kid, became a stoner and started wearing casual comfy clothes like ripped jeans, band tshirts, plaid shirts and Converse... just so you know how I segued into grunge. I guess music has always influenced how I dress to an extent. Over the years I've amassed a few legit Nirvana tour tshirts from op shopping and as gifts. The Heart Shaped Box one is my favourite because one of my friends from when I was still a teen gave it to me... we're not friends anymore sadly. Some of them are worth at least a grand in their shabby states but I'd never sell them. Edit: Also, I think no matter your age, you can appreciate music that wasn't around during your time. I was 2 years old when Kurt died.

Nirvana is one of the few bands that you had to actually be there at the time when they exploded to really understand how important they were. Sure any generation can appreciate their music, but you had to be there to really really get it. I don’t care what anybody says, that is the absolute truth. You just did not get him right, Kurt Cobain had a hard life often and was bullied at school, he wanted to be a Rockstar = like a Punk playing whatever in a Punk Band in small clubs for People like him -> outsider , he never wanted to be a Superstar, he said clearly I do hate myself being now in the place force to play my music for those kind of kids did bully and hate me on school, this is exhausting and getting me sick. He also said often very clear, he never care much of wanna be a person of success, he was more the Anti Hero Type of person. He did also not like people in the music industry did everything to be famous and making money like going with the hype and playing in long hair rock bands like guns and roses ... Then there was also his stomage sickness and he was contracted onto big Tours without a break, he often needed to cancel a concert or was on some burned out, what did also end up bad. The stress , drugs , uncomfort and exhaustion was even much more bad for his stomage issures .... He trying to stop playing smells like teen spirit the song did make him a superstar and a song he start to hate because everyone likes it and not only the punks, so he did hope with the next album In Utero he will get back to his roots and shake off the mainstream and everyone in respect to the punks, but his nightmare did not end there ... All in this - he took more and harder drugs to get a long and finally did take a break and his 1st suicide attempt , then try to get clean and get back up again, he faced reality, he will not make it and loose the band and his family and that he will never get back on his feet again, that was also meant what he said in his last letter. He was sorry and did make himself guilty , that he could not preform like fans and the music as art does demand it and that he turned into someone his daughter should not grow up with. it was time for him to go, because he was trapped with life as his enemy and the life was heading up in front of him will even more wreck him to someone he will hate himself even much more and also noone else would like to see, specially not his daughter and people love him, he was sorry to everyone, but he was done and he is out and needed to go, because he did already cause pain and is in pain by himself all the time what will even get much more worse by the problems can not be solved, so he would like to say his last goodbye as long as there is something left can still be respected.

Wash your mouth out with soap! Now I'll understand if this comment was made in a moment of drunken exuberance, but in no reality did nirvana write better melodies than the Beatles. Let's put aside the fact that the Beatles put out a million more songs than nirvana, but just put the Beatles top 10 songs against any other bands top 10 and the Beatles will smoke them...especially melodies, this is where the Beatles are known to have excelled! I love nirvana as much as the next psychotic nirvana fan...but the Beatles were the Beatles, no one is ever touching the top of their mountain.

Помню: когда более десяти лет назад смотрел фильм "Через вселенную", то подумал, что этот парень мог легко сыграть Курта безо всякого грима. Настолько велико было сходство, причём не только лица, но и выражения глаз и голоса.
