Liam Gamazo I agree with xXBlinDXx12 and if he does not, I know lots of guitar riffs, I've been playing guitar and bass for over 13 years, the simplicity of the song and most of nirvana's songs is what makes them genius. For technical stuff there are a lot of progressive metal bands. I invite you to listen to the Ramones, Misfits, Black Flag, Pixies, Stooges, Sex Pistols, Sonic Youth, and you will be amazed by the simplicity of such amazing songs and you will be able to understand why "Lounge Act" is a great riff.

The meaning of Flannel Shirts comes from being poor in the early 90s. Most of our parents lived and worked young in the 70s and 80s and during that time the Men built up a wardrobe of Flannel Shirts not as a style but because they were warm while on the dock. As a kid if you didnt have a shirt we would raid our parent closet and take out one of Dad Flannel shirts, they kept us warm in two ways, the Cloth and Feeling Close to our Father who was never home.
@WasatchTraveler4 жыл бұрын
I wore a flannel shirt in the 90s because I lived in a cold place and it kept me warm walking to school in the morning, without dragging a coat around. My wet hair would literally freeze on the way, but I was warm enough. Not too many kids shared this fashion with me. I was elated to see Kobain in flannel--felt like vindication.
@frogs43354 жыл бұрын
can always understand that flannels werent ever stylish then. i wear mine for comfort, hell my old one was a rag and i only wore it cause my grandma wore it
@UnleashedTraining1013 жыл бұрын
Practical just like jeans. Back in the day jeans were designed for riding horses and farm work. Hence the durable picket rivets. A flanno and jeans is still practical attire that's fit for purpose. Kurt I think dressed for comfort and practicality. He was always in jeans and a cardigan that I'm sure was not a fashion thing but rather just comfortable and warm. I don't think Kurt gave a shit about fashion.
@AudioAndroid3 жыл бұрын
@@UnleashedTraining101 I never hear mention anything about Kurts Mother and Father I am actually shocked that I never thought about it much before but I think when I would see him playing music and he had his flannel shirt own I just assumed he wore it for the same reasons that I did so no need to question. I wonder now about his parents, who were they and where were they? I know the drummers mom moved to Seattle and Chris parents I know nothing about but I always thought he look to much like Andy Kaufman and maybe that was his dad lol but jokes aside everyone sees every color differently and its AMAZING how much knowledge can be gain about someone from a simple shirt.

Velez era muy grande para nirvana en ese momento. Aun guardo la entrada. Kurt no sabia o simulaba no saber los temas y Chris se los recordaba. @WeS Kurt hated hippies in general, he wrote extensively about it in his journals, which have been published posthumously. He viewed his parents and the parents of his friends as irresponsible, these people grew up with all of these ideals and tried to reform the world but fucked up something so essential as taking care of their own children. His parents and those of his friends all divorced early in their child's lives and left a huge scar of neglect, and Cobain had a distaste for them and saw them as a group that never really accomplished anything and never really did anything to thwart the system or corporations that they were supposedly against but instead live irresponsible lives and had to sow their oats at an early age and become alcoholics and then they all still turned around and had children despite having nothing to offer them. The children of the baby boomers aka generation X are known as depressed and apathetic because of these reasons, the irresponsibility of the baby boomers essentially destroyed the possibility of a future for their own children.
