Fucking true, he used Dave’s Tom fills and Chad’s double bass during the bridge!

If you pay attention to the guitar solo, Sean sneaks in Chad’s double bass in there a few times.

Chad Channing is the only punk rock drummer I know that uses double bass, people cannot blame Dave, Dave thinks he sucks at double bass.

Your toms, snare, and ride all sound godly, but what's ruining it all is your high hat. It sounds cheap and trashy. What toms are you using? I'd like to get my hands on some like yours
@Simon_Stewart7 жыл бұрын
Thanks, The Kit Was A Gretsch Renown Limited Edition. I Didn't Want To Use The Meinl Extra Dry Hi Hat Cymbals For This. As Dave Grohl Used A Trashy Sounding Hi Hat. So I Used A Paiste PST 8 Hi Hats. Not The Best But Got The Job Done.
@Doyouevenart693 жыл бұрын
@@Simon_Stewart hey man I think it sounds Fucking fantastic my guy. You killed it from top to bottom. Crushed it! Don’t get me wrong I love attention to detail and technicality but all these arm chair critics who have the unmitigated audacity to bitch, moan, complain, and critique even the smallest and/or most minute detail are absolutely hilarious sometimes! Like, as a drummer myself who has a lot of respect for the craft and many years under my belt dedicated to the craft, you just know many of these people are the ones who are wanna be professional or gigging musicians. They often talk the talk but can barely crawl, let alone walk the walk. After spending many years gigging in the industry, I’ve come across more than my fair share of people who barely play or hardly take the drums serious but have the nerve to talk down to somebody or condescendingly critique others as if they have the credentials to do so; Typically, these folks are puffing their chests or peacocking ( pun intended) while in a proverbial dick measuring contest with themselves. More often than not, they end up dropping their pants to reveal their proverbial chode measuring in at a whopping 3 and 1/2 inches....tops...tops...They’re usually off on their high horse, pretending to be something they’re often not: Some sort of pretentious “overly conscious” music snob with the persona/image that often times projects some sort of self important version of themselves that portrays themselves as active gigging/experienced / or seasoned musicians that may impress casuals or your crush at the bar but just flat out makes you look like an asshole to actual respectable, hard working musicians. Don’t be that guy. Just appreciate other musicians craft and dedication. Be positive, there’s more than enough negativity, rejection, and failure as is in this business/industry. If you’re a fellow musician or peer, treat others as comrades, contemporaries, and colleague’s! If you’re an actually musician dedicated to your craft that puts in time or work, no matter the skill, you have our respect and deserve positive reinforcement. Like someone else mentioned, it’s a cover, that part of what makes ART....art and what makes it subjective. It doesn’t have to be some objective piece, that you have to carbon copy or hit absolutely note for note. Jesus. How do people like that ever have fun when they play???

They split with Chad because Chad internally felt he wasn't contributing enough to writing. He didn't voice it, and his drumming suffered since he wasn't as passionate anymore. That's why they split. He did an interview on KISW in 2009 where he talked about it. It's on KZfaq
@Doyouevenart693 жыл бұрын
@@chasedeery1665 that’s absolutely not even remotely true 😂😂😂 Like, did you just make some bullshit up, throw shit at the wall and see what sticks? I don’t understand how people go as far as commenting on a post regarding a certain subject they clearly know very little about and then attempt to get off by “educating” or “informing” people with flat out fallacious and extremely incorrect information presented as fact 😂😂😂😂
