It's a brush technique. The drummer is there for tempo in the design of a "final product" . If you were to just "jam out" , it wouldn't create the right affect/intimacy with whoever is observing it; in an attempt to put it simply. Peace

@@mahikaboojo1378 I agree he left behind truly great and beautiful music, sadly, he was a troubled soul, and I'm not saying it from a religious perspective cuz I'm not. Truth is, he was a soul in despair, and he ended his life tragically, how you can expect his soul to rest in peace? And I can't imagine from a religious pov, he also s not resting in peace. We tell ourselves that in hopes of finding some sort of comfort but it's not always the reality. I'd wish he, as I do hope my idols such as Tupac is also resting in peace, but who knows, truth be told we'll never know the answer till we die.

Watching Nirvava Unplugged for the first time since Kurt Cobain’s death. It’s still hauntingly beautiful and heavy with emotion. Life is precious, please don’t give up on people you know who are struggling with their mental health. We don’t need to lose another person like Kurt Cobain, and more so we don’t need what happened this week in Lewiston Maine to happen again either.

For a long time it was believed that the lyrics of the song spoke about the life of the singer who, as a teenager, lived on the streets of Aberdeen in Washington after being kicked out of his home, and who survived by sleeping and fishing under the street bridge. Young. However, it was not until 2001 that Cobain's biography, Heavier than Heaven by writer Charles Cross, confirmed that during the four months that Cobain lived on the streets, he slept in various places such as cardboard boxes, hallways of buildings abandoned, waiting rooms in town hospitals, etc. And that he wrote the lyrics imagining what it would feel like to be a person who lives under the bridge and is slowly dying of an illness, since that was a kind of fantasy that the singer had.

Likewise, after reading about Kurt's journey, it is heartbreaking that no one reached out to him during that time. And that's why Jerry Cantrell was forever grateful when Layne Staley offered him to come and live with him when he heard that Jerry was homeless when he just met Jerry!

Damn I was 10 years old in 93. My bro and I loved Nirvana so much. Reminds me of the room we shared, the bunk beds, Nintendo, skateboarding AND JUKEBOX NETWORK!

You totally just described my life. My neighbor had a half pipe in his back yard, I spent all my time at his house. We would listen to Nirvana, while waxing our skateboards. It was so chill. I ended up going into the Air Force and he moved off. All of my friends would bust on me bc even into my 30's, I HAD to have my Etnies & DC's, to match my scubs. When my daughter was little, she wore them too. Only 5 year old I ever saw wearing a pair of DCs. 🤣 Nothing will ever beat an old school Nintendo, and MTV...when they actually played music.

What I was originally going to say was "I was -1", but since this is a batman video... “Ah you think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man"

@Rowan Melton not for me! I find winter soo enjoyable, the colors of the sky, the hot chocolate, the snow (that I see every 3 years), for me the most depressing season is summer! But Nirvana just got those winter vibes like I barely listen to them in a other time of the year, it's only during winter!!

@Rowan Melton idk 😂 it's just a sad season, I think it's because in summer there's a giant burning sun all day since early in the morning to the late evening and for me when the sun is really bright it remind of the end of the day and it doesn't makes me wanna do anything 😣

Kurt was a beyond talented man who just wanted to make music and got rich and couldn't handle the fame his record dealers pushed on him. Rest in peace, my man, you were too normal for the world we're in today.
