I do own Hacivat and got a couple of unsolicited compliments from it and I will never forget these compliments because they were just so memorable and surprising, I don't own the armaf one yet but might have to check it out

A great review Sarah! Lattafa's Qaa'ed just came in today and ohhh mama. This stuff is reeeeeeegal. Love the transition from a strong cardamom-incense to almost like a spicy-fruity woody-amber. The woods have that leathery quality to them too. Literally straight down the line unisex and everything so well balanced for a cheapie. 🤤 Perfect amount of spiciness for an oriental frag imo. 2 for 2 when it comes to Lattafa! I know it's nothing about Hacivat (more of a spring frag for me), but I did promise to let you know! 💛

I’ve got cdni and hacivat (I haven’t worn either of them to much however). Oddly enough I was planning to wear hacivat to work tomorrow. I’ll go ahead and do that, then (thanks to this video) wear cdni the following week. Thanks for always keeping it real. That’s why we love you.

I personally love the oak moss in this! I’ve been wearing it for a couple months and I’ve gotten a total of 6 compliments. It’s worth noting that every time I got complimented I was dress fairly nice. Casual but we’ll put together. Also, my bottle needed to macerate because when I first got it I went with 15 sprays and it was a skin scent, now I use 6 and you can smell it through a mask, not beast mode yet but it’s on its way. Great review as always!!!

I have never worn a fragrance for compliments, I were fragrance for what I makes me feel- confident, sensual etc.

Great video. I love Club de Nuit intense man edp! Lasts all day and smells great! I wouldn’t got it with out your recommendation. I don’t have the coin to spend on Aventus and Hacivat

Totally agree. Just not worth the price for average people. I got it for a steal so it is ok but with normal online price it is disappointment

No need to apologize for anything. This just reinforces my thoughts to stop buying expensive fragrances, I have a Tom Ford, PDM, Carner Barcelona and a few more. I'm just going to stick to cheapies, cheap designer and clones. Some of the best smelling frags I have are the cheapest or from the great Middle East clone houses. 😁✌️

I have CDNI EDT and EDP and thought about trying the Nishane but just couldn't justify to myself spending the extra cash to get the same smell. However, I did just recently pick up Mont Blanc Explorer because of what I've heard of it and mostly because it was very reasonably priced. I've yet to give it a full wearing so I can't compare it to the Armaf but if they are in anyway close I won't feel hurt by that as I paid around the same price for both. Always appreciate your honest and informative reviews!

Unfortunately I think the chemistry with this fragrance might smell better on men. Have you tried The scent of Peace?

It does seem as if people compliment far and away the frags that slap them in the face with syntheticness. I receive a lot more attention with Coach, Legend Spirit, Curve, Drakker etc than the more costly niche stuff. Think it basically comes down to the better sillage trail they produce. ❤️❤️

I have both. I actually have a 50ml and 100ml of Hacivat. I wore Hacivat to work last week and got about 5 unsolicited compliments within a 2 hour time frame. To be fair, I’ve never worn CDNIM EDP to work so I need to try it. I’m not sure why I never have. I guess it hasn’t really crossed my mind until now. Lol. I will wear it tomorrow. Hacivat is my second favorite fragrance in my collection…so even if I never get another compliment from it, I’ll be fine because I love the scent for me. Don’t get me wrong, I do wear most of my fragrances to get compliments, but there are certain ones that I keep in my collection because I love them!!! Great review young lady. Holla.

Thank you for the honest review Sarah, and I could not agree with you more. I am all about the 'bang for the bucks' when it comes to fragrances. Disclaimer, sometimes I want to wear something that to my nose is unexpected and original. Those fragrances are more difficult to find, and obviously more difficult to wear in some social settings. So you used the phrase, "This fragrance is a Swiss Army Knife type...", and that is the very definition of a utilitarian type product. This idea can be summed in the relatively new word, MEH. So if I am buying a fragrance, and wearing the fragrance around people that I want to find me fragrantly attractive, then MEH is NOT the fragrance for me. Again, thank you for your honesty. So I have a funny for you. I do not know if you look at your video clips on KZfaq on your phone or on your computer/tablet or what, but if you do. The small photo link that appears to the right on my 'computer screen' has a screen-grab of your face and you have a this giant green protrusion 🥬 coming out of the top of your head. When I saw this🥬 , I thought, "Oh gurrrl, no you didn't?" B/c it looked like you had dyed the top of your hair with a very Irish kelly green 🥬at worst, or at best you were wearing a French beret or a British 💂 fascinator type hat 👒. Any of these would be hilarious btw. However, what the screen-shot link photo made me immediately think of is 'Sprout' ☘️ in the Green Giant frozen food commercials!!! Now having said all this, I am a whatever works for you, kind of equal opportunity person 🦚. So I just wanted you to know that if your day job is as 'Sprout' ☘️ in the Green Giant commercials, then that is perfectly okay 👌 with me. I purchased a sample of Hacivat for around $30...greatly disappointed. To me it was nice but not any different from the bottles of Orion or Cedrat Boise I own. As a matter of fact I prefer both those. I'd even choose several of the Parfum Vintage variations over this juice. I like the Pineapple note Parfum Vintage uses in their Aventus inspirations. I respect the quality and the grind of Nishane. Just not worth the money for me. Maybe I'll revisit it in the future and change my opinion but I was really let down by this one. After over 2 years of collecting and over 100 bottles, I'm starting to see it's the smell of the juice that really matters, maybe not so much the price.

i sampled this one and did not get pineapple at all. citrus for 1min max and then smelled like wet forest water. did I get a fake decant? I was expecting the pineapple to mix with oakmoss for atleast an hour. no?

Do you think this is different enough that people who smell it on me won't mistake it for Aventus or any of its clones? 😄

I mean I get why niche houses reinvent Creed Aventus, they want you to keep your money with them, and not have to go out and buy creed. They are catering to the house loyalists. Those who buy everything they put out. I’m not that person, I bounce around a lot, and if I find that $50 CDNIM is better than $200 Hacivat version of Creed....even if CDNIM version of Creed is better or just as good as the original , I’m a go with the more cost effective version. And there should be no shame in that. It’s 2021 we should take pride in being smarter consumers. And unapologetic about it.
