That GT-R LM is the streetlegal version of the le mans 1995 Racecar. Racers should know it from gran turismo 1. This specific car was always one of the characteristic cars of gran turismo :) Note: The car is RWD because it was taken from the race car entirely.

TheNOBLEsechs All of these older Skylines are RWD. Built that way from the factory, but they have a tuner/program that activates AWD when needed.

1/1 Skyline. Nissan was supposed to race but they had to make at least one road going car. Thus this was created. A very very very rare R33. Not just a kit.

Tried this on the airstrip earlier today and i'm actually suprised that fully upgraded the standard R33 is acually faster then the LM. But those extra RPM's man! **smack** Noice.

I made it S1 RWD drive can easily go 230 mph with the power of tuning and no loss of 0-60 or 0-100 somehow in fact it improved a little, unfortunately I had to ditch the RB26 for generic V8 with a supercharger, shoot me the engine just didn't have any low end power at all it just didn't pull even with a single turbo. Only problem is I just want to to corner a little better just slightly reduce that under steer but all I'm good at is gear ratio tuning.

Only one Nissan Skyline R33 GTR LM Road Going Version exists! Has RWD and RB-X series engine and lost only to four Mclaren F1 GTR's at the 1995 Le Man's.

AWD and RWD does have huge difference in race situations. RWD has always been fast entry, slow exit due to the power lost when you're powering out also due to the loss of traction. AWD has always been, the same as FWD cars, slow in fast out. They go into the turn slow so that there's no overspeed and they could counter understeer and when the traction builds up, they step on the accelerator and power out of the corner thus almost all RWD cars can divebomb into a corner of a FWD/AWD car while a FWD/AWD car could afford to hang on to many outside lane and just power out with traction they have just to close the gap on a RWD car. It's just that weird. However, it's some kind of weird racing law that restricts it to just RWD for whatever reason and the BNR33 GTR LM was supposed to be a one-off homologation special or some sort for Nissan to be able to enter Le Mans with the race car they had in FH3 also.

0:47 - understeer is usually better than oversteer as you can easier do a *controlled* powerslides + you can exit curve with less issues. Man, you should prefer understeer if you're really into racing;)

I'm sorry to be nit picky but theo called the car a race car its not a racer it was a 1 off street car built by Nissan to meet regulations so they could race at le mans I know because this same car has been on gran turismo since gt 4 and it gives a great description of it

The GTR LM is RWD because of the JGTC rules. And I still think RWD is better in any track situation because it weights less and has more horsepower. However, the AWD is a lot safer if you want to be a squid on the streets. Slick tires are banned in there.
