These Nissan workhorses of the Indian Army are tough beasts that can tame any terrain. Similar to the Dodge 'Power Wagons' which are slightly bigger but follow the same design symmetry. Fun to drive and for the wanderlust - these one-tonner trucks are an ideal for excursions and off-roading across India. Not for those who crib about "kitna deti hai" brigade. Lucky are those who own & drive such beauties.

The Supreme Court of India on January 2019 ruled that no motor vehicle in the country can be modified or altered in such a way which makes the data about the car differ from the modified version of the car. In layman’s language, you cannot play with the ‘structural features’ of the car in any manner. Any changes to the car’s chassis or engine have also been termed illegal. So, going above and beyond with your imagination and portraying it on your car can now land you into some serious trouble. Considering above court verdict these vehicles are completely illigally modified from its original version .

As per New vehicle scarp policy of Ministry of Road transport & Highways these vehicles has to be scarpped, if you want to retain it then it has to be in vintage category that means it has to be in its original shape with petrol engine version and even then you have to get it endorsed from your respective area registration authority for its Road worthyness.

The Tyre size on Nissan 4w73 is 7.50.20 where as these modified tyre size is 12.00.20 completely different and insane .
