My brother used to have a 2008 Touring with a 6 speed, had a full Motordyne shockwave exhaust, ART pipes, no cats only resonators. I’ve heard many great cars in my lifetime, including the M5 he has now, but I always tell him that was the best sounding car I ever heard. I’m currently selling a couple things and saving money so that I can sell my Miata in the beginning of next summer and buy a HR 350z.

I’d keep your rev up. Just monitor oil consumption and I’d build that. Maybe slap a turbo and run low boost. You can even get a built block

When I’m driving a new car that I’m not used to, a tip that helps me out before I drive, is to row the gears before I start driving. Get used to them so we don’t run into the same problem u ran into (troubles finding 5th/6th gear)

I can pick up a 2007 hr for 8k with 120k miles and not have to worry about car payments or finance a 2018 mustang gt are z quick for what they are

I’d get the hr Forsure. I had a 2020 Gt and I loved it but payments suck and my gt Lowkey had issues like bbq tick and 2k rattle. Also the mt-82 is trash too. I’d get the hr and just build that over getting a newer car.

Absolutely! Nobody knows everything there is to know about cars ! as you get more into the car scene and you surround yourself by cars and work on them and learn about it all it’ll start to become second nature ‼️

Giovanni The stud I would try and talk them down to at least 5k cuz who knows how hard the previous owners beat on that car....it could have been good owners that kept up with maintenance or that HR could have got the complete sh*t beat out of it 😭 Definitely ask for any type of records/receipts!!!! Also inspect the car thoroughly to find any hidden damage!!! Just curious is the car rebuilt?

@@bman409 well honestly I like to get up to speed fast so I’ll take the car to 4k but after I’ll just cruise in 5th-6th gear just depends what the speed limit is. Here in Florida traffic is terrible so drivers will ride your A** if you don’t get up to sleep fast enough :/

@@fresnosfuture2619 it wasn’t the cars fault it was me it was my first ever time driving a Z I was getting use to the gear box but the cd009 that came in later model Zs is the trans to get the Cd001 is in earlier models and it’s much weaker (2nd-3rd gear tend to grind) the storage on Zs is cool but it’s very impractical! You have to move the passenger seat forward just to access the glove box
