After upgrading the factory alternator on my Nissan GQ Patrol from the original 70 amp to a 100amp unit an upgrade to the factory charge cabling was required. The factory wiring is I think substandard even for the factory output. I've used 25mm2 or 3B&S cabling - I used the blue sea circuit wizard to help with cable size selection, its a free app.
MRBF terminal fuses are used at the battery end of the wiring.
Unilug replacement terminal lug replaced the original
Techflex braided cable wrap used to protect the cable, its expensive but its longer lasting and more durable than the traditional corrugated style split tubing.
