Used the scanner to turn on the circuit at the connector no change. No short to ground on the same circuit. I could have ohmed it out but I have seen this on alot of setups like this. As for a bypass does not work on a pulse with modulated grounding circuit. If you full ground the circuit to make it work then you burn up the alternator . This is a Low side control circuit much less circuitry in computer to control this besides a high side one where it controls the power to it.
