I put a K&N air filter on my Corolla, sounds lovely with your foot flat!

@gsexcy its a tiny hole, dont leak air, just a small amount of oil, the oil comes from the ventilation hose that goes from the valve cover to the intake, so oil vapor goes through the turbo - intercooler and into the engine. the leak was the same the 2 years i had the truck, no need to fix it.

@supernatural824 you get filters like this in all shapes and sizes, just google green filter and find a dealer in your area and they will find a filter that fits your car.

@sniperotto was the engine noise considerably louder than usual?

Did you need any adaptor plates or anything to fit the pod , my mate wants to do the same thing to his d22

@Juankacr07 I would say equal... i use green filter because there is no K&N dealers im my area

i did thi to my nissan navara ST and it made it sound like it had a hole in the exhust and used alot more fuel too

mine ran fine with no probs too, altho the turbo hissing can get a bit annoying on long drives

its an 04, stock it got 133 bhp and about 330 nm of torque, mine have 175bhp and 400 nm of torque

its turbo model, you can hear it

Water will get in easily with this type of filter during off roading

there is a sensor on the right of the air filter, but it dont look like it does anything at all, it runs better with this filter as well ass better throttle response. been like this for almost a year now, no problems what so ever.

@sniperotto or it could be the turbo oil seals, if it is the engine like you said why is it breathing so heavy to be pushing oil out of the engine and into the atmosphere. you will also be loosing this oil from your sump and the fact that you can see it from the outside means you cooler is either cracked or a hose/hose clamp is loose or cracked

yep, standard cooler on it, the only thing ive done to it is fitted this filter, a power box and now, after this video was made, a 2.5 inch straight exhaust. several videos of that will come later on
