Do the Z tune front bumper. Z tune Carbon hood. A splash of Nismo stickers. Exterior wise. The stock wing do not need to be changed. Change the guage clusters to the White Nismo 320km/h 11,000 rpm guages. For power mods The Nismo Omori factory has OEM like R1 Spec bolt on twin turbo kits which are good up to 500 to 600bhp power output without causing a bigger turbo lag. Also if you are adding power be sure to upgrade the oil pump and water pump on the RB26. The Nismo N1 Oil pump is a must or the Tomei unit for any RB26 owners. I will still suggest upgrading the internals and change the gaskets and studs and bolts for a stronger longer lasting engine. Your R34 is a 1999 production year so it should be a V Spec 1 model. Later gen like the V Spec II Nur had the stronger N1 RB block and upgraded internals which can withstand up to 800bhp. Nismo 2.8L stroker kit helps bump up the power of the RB26 by a decent figure. The RB28DETT is what powered the Z Tune R34 with 500bhp. Gearbox oil coolers and diff oil coolers will def prolong the lifespan of the gearbox and diffs. The fuel and spark system on the RB26 is pretty ancient and many owners have swapped them with the GTR R35 Coil on Pack plugs and use the fuel pump and fuel rail plus injectors from the GTR R35. Def a good standalone ECU like Haltech will bring all the mods together. Brakes wise. There are kits which allows you to run the R35 GTR stock 6 pot calipers and 4 pot rears config for better braking esp when the R34 has like 500 to 600bhp. Sachs or Tein suspension is what i have seen many R34 owners run. Be it in drag applications or track days. Good luck with your R34 build. Cheers mate.

Finally a whole series of R34 content :D agree with changing the Blitz too had one on mine and although they perform well the sound isn't amazing. I have a Nismo now and that's great, so recommend that, or Tomei. Keep up the good work, and looking forward to see what you build this into :D

The Sound won´t really change with an different Catback Exhaust. It´s the Twin Turbo Header/Manifold that makes it that way. A single Turbo Manifold will change the Sound drastically. Same goes for an Mk4 Supra. Wonderful R34, and a really big Congrats. Love the Color! Greetings from Austria

I agree Theo. No more than 500hp. Get a decent set of coilovers so that it will handle the UK roads but stiff enough for some track days. Oh and put a clear wrap on it to avoid stone chips.

My car makes 500 to the wheels, and honestly for daily driving you don't even want anything more than that. I can't even row through the gears in it and have fun on public streets because 3 seconds of WOT is over the speed limit. If I was in your position, I'd go straight pipe/headers and e85 with a good tune. That'll likely get you to the 350-400hp mark, it'd sound great, and still be fun on the street. Sweet car man congrats on realizing your dreams!

Brutally Honest Review?

Do not ruin this car, you're the owner of an R34 GT-R, this is a big responsibility. Keep it standard & you will not lose any money on it, modify it with proper Nismo parts & it's going to cost you a fortune. I've talked with a guy who had a Nismo Bonnet & Nismo Z-tune front wings, they are seriously expensive, I'm talking four figures. Enjoy the car but do not chav it up.

500-600HP is a good range for a GTR. I'm aiming for 500 myself, since it is going to be mainly a road car. Make sure if you do some upgrades of the RB26 however that you look into the oil starvation problem. You may need to put in oil restrictors in the block as well as a return line from the head of the engine to the sump. A sump upgrade wouldn't be bad either. Best of luck!

One thing I will say is every thing you change keep the stock/from buying parts so if you do eventually want to sell you can have the option to revert back to factory for resale value
