Nissan vs Toyota 4x4 Challenge

A 4x4 Nissan vs Toyota challenge off road.
We have 3 comparisons going;
A well modified twin locked boosted Toyota Landcruiser 80 Series vs a well modified LS powered Nissan Patrol GU with front locker and a tight Nissan LSD in the rear.
A mildly modified Toyota Landcruiser 80 series vs a similarly modified Nissan Patrol GQ both on 35 inch tyres and open diffs in the front and LSD rears.
A modified twin locked Toyota Hilux vs a stock Nissan Patrol GU.

Inspired by this my 11yo started his first YT channel Big Boy Eat Hoon! He is neither big nor eats much and only has a 2WD Yamaha quad! But he can drive a Polaris Ranger and will upload some of his "hooning" LOL

What purpose does the tiny hood vent on the Patrol serve? Is there a similarly tiny intercooler under there?

I drive the white LS patrol and im running my 2nd transmission cooler under the hood vent..

Yes there is an intercooler under it.
