Pitting X-Trail against Fortuner is like putting a Thai Kick Boxer or a Kung Fu fighter against Mike Tyson. No, you can do it, but that's not a fare fight. A true and legit fight against Mike Tyson will be bringing a heavy weight boxer. Instead of X-Trail, Nissan should have brought in the Nissan Terra, the worthy fighter against Fortuner. X-Trail is a fighter against XUV-500, XUV-700, Harrier, Ford Territory and MG Hector. Plus we Indians already have a Fortuner fighter in India from a Japanese Car brand. And that is MU-X. But nobody even looks at it. Baap hain wo Fortuner ka. Australia, Thailand, Indonesia mein Fortuner ko masal ke rakh deta hain. But usko koi bhao dena toh duur, test drive bhi nehi leta hain. Aur sab koi kehta hain, Fortuner ka koi mukabla nehi. Sirf Endeavour tor sakta hain. Aree bhai, sar ghumake dusre brands ko bhi dekho. Force Gurkha ka bhaukaal dekho kabhi. Fortuner bhi uske samne nanha bachha lagta hain. Lakin nehi, wohi Fortuner ke piche bhagna hain. And Mahindra ka bhi ek full size SUV tha, Alturas G4. Far better than Fortuner. Lekin fir se hum Indians usee bhi zyada importance nehi diya. As a result Mahindra ko discontinue karna para. Fortuner ka sirf Endeavour nehi aur bhi bade sare competitors hain, aur tagra competitors hain. Lekin nehi, wohi last generation ka Fortuner leke faltu ka show-off karna hai hum Indians ko. Fir hum hi kehte hai Fortuner kyun update nehi hota, fir agle statement mein kehte hai Fortuner ka koi mukabla nehi ho sakta.

I own this car in canada. It’s name is Nissan Rogue. Decent car to drive with a lot of transmission issues. And it’s 5 seater. It’s definitely premium than xuv.
