Nice review AND the first time I have ever seen a dive watch being worn while diving (for review)....it says a lot. I like the look of the watch and durability seems good, quartz movements are fine, my only real concerns are the two lengths of the rubber strap (measured from lug holes) as I have 20cm wrist and weight, as I have a Helson Shark Diver weighing 225g and it’s is just too heavy for my comfort level.

Changed my battery today, it was a Sony CR2016 and lasted around 6 years Easy job to replace Surprised by the amount of space under the watch back and that there was no obvious gasket set up although the watch mechanism does appear to be inside a plastic container/holder Rescrewed the watch back using silicone grease

I have had a nite gx30 for 10 years now. Worn every day and it’s still beautiful. Chronograph isn’t working anymore but it’s still accurate

Great video, I've got the exact same blue polymer Alpha 300M watch! You've had the watch over 2yrs now. I'd love to see a video on cleaning this watch, I go at it with a cotton bud every now and again but, as the strap is currently broken (a video on changing the strap would be cool too 😉), it's been in storage for a while and I noticed that it's got some build up between the teeth (?!?) in the bezel.

A watch is more than just it's movement.

Too expensive. Quartz movement!! The 'Nite' logo looks awful & the second hands don't line up with minutes. Why is it so thick without automatic movement?
@markevans3662 жыл бұрын
The thickness of the watch is due to the GTLS tubes on the face and hands. If the watch is on your bedside table at night, you can see the time in pitch darkness no problem at all. As for the second hand not lining up with the the graduations, at the end of the month my Nite Alpha is out by 3 seconds. If you have an automatic watch you'll be very, very lucky if it's out by 3 minutes. Your second hand may be lining up with your graduations (again, if you're lucky) but your minute hand is telling the wrong time.
