Get updated about current affairs. You will know whether he is slow or fast. He is delivering it on the ground. The petrol you use is 10% ethanol blended. That means per 100 rs you are paying, 10 rs goes to the farmers of India instead of Saudi, Iraq. And it is going to be 20% very soon. He said that he has made the automobile industry from 4.5 lakh crore industry to 12.5 lakh cr industry in just 9 years. Please do calculate, It took 65 yrs to reach 4.5 lakh crore and in 9 years he has made it 12.5 crores. Is it slow?

@@sambit948 Seems you're updated more on podcasts than real current affairs. E20 (20% blend) is already available in many parts of India, even where I live. That's not the problem. We are currently overly dependent of 1st Gen Bio fuels (fuels made from food stock) which create an imbalance with the food economy. The decision by the government to prepone the 2030 E20 deadline to 2025 has caused many issues including but not limited to: No focus on promoting 2nd gen Bio fuels, Vast expansion of agriculture into forest lands, leading to destruction of trees and other biomass, releasing stored CO2 causing more environmental pollution, having to import grains from outside India due to the demand which is many times more than the production capacities. Don't get me started on automotive industry. I'm from Bangalore and I know what the automotive industry is doing to our environment. "With selective goggles, you will only see what you want to see"

@@ben4wisdom I don't want to judge anyone. But from your comment one can easily guess your affinity towards leftist ideology. You said it's 20%. So, that's good news. Our foreign currency reserve is saved and that money is being pumped back to our farmers hand and that would enable farmers to buy more equipments, better seeds etc. And any form of Ethanol is less polluting than extracting fossil fuel and burning at any day. The main goal here is substituting dependence on forever volatile International Petro market and becoming self sufficient. If we had been self sufficient on Petro products then our diplomatic capitals wouldn't have been used up in defending our oil imports from Russia or we would not have to suspend and house arrest a female politician for expressing her freedom of speech. You are saying food grains are being used to produce Ethanol. I don't know about that. For what I know is only those excess wheat and sugar that remains idle are being used. And if the farmers are getting a little extra money from selling then it's good for them. An average Indian farmer gets 6000 per month income. If he is getting some more money then we shouldn't have any problem.

Govt has been trying to bring the costs down. Gst was supposed to bring the cost down too. But the companies have increaed their profits instead of transferring those extra savings to people. Govt should ensure that these benefits reach to common people. Profits are necessary for business, but greed is not.

I think what needs to be improved is the timeline in which work is complete. Delays are the only thing that is adding a lot of expenses unnecessarily

Actually what increases cost of infra is poor planning, which also causes increase in budget and delays, to improve planning you need experienced and knowledgeable people to work on projects, that is why govt has started to alot tenders to private companies, that is why we see national projects are completing in record speed, but then opposition comes and say govt is selling everything to private companies, and foolish people start saying govt is worst.
