Hello Nitin, Being a fresher and someone who will do MS just after bachelors, I wanted to know how to land internships. Thank you for the video. I've few queries: 1. Can I do internship in my first year of MS. Wasn't it so that F1 visa allows on campus jobs only in first year and then internship (CPT) from second year. 2. Will I find 500 companies on linkedin only? What do you think about indeed.com, glassdoor and other such portals? PS: I am GRE 318 with IELTS 7.5 and GPA 7.37. Hoping to get SJSU MSSE for fall 17.

sannisth Soni 1. You can't work for first 9 months in US as a intern. You can only get on campus job during this period. 2. The main sources for Internship Opportunities are LinkedIn, Angellist, Glassdoor, Indeed and company career pages. thank you for commenting :)

Dear Nitin, I am currently pursing BSc. CS from University of Mumbai. I am planning to give GRE and TOEFL. I want to purse MS in the US. I have watched most of your videos-they're very helpful, thank you. I just wanted to know what would be the overall cost(approx.) of the 2 year MS from some xyz university(for example - UTD) in Indian rupees? or tell me about your expense's total in the span of these 2 years. Thanks anyway.

George Williams it's changes from uni to uni . For me it's around 46K$ for two years :) The factors which will affect this are turion fees ,monthly expenses, travel etc :)

Yes, ideally you should start preparing resume as soon as you land followed by internship search.

Hi Nitin, thanks a lot for this video.. I have got admit from sjsu for master program in computer engineering for fall 17, so when should I start preparing and making resume..? Also can you please make a video on courses and assignments for CE department.. As my major concern is I have been working for 2 years. And I have lost touch on most of the topics.. So how hard will it be to catch up with the courses and assignments.. Thanks a lot in advance..

rajan mishra glad that you liked the video :) here are few things which I would suggest - 1. it would be really good if you start working on your resume and LinkedIn profile 2. try to get green sheets and Prof reviews for subjects you are planning to take in first sem 3. start everything early I hope this helps you :)
