Its a good looking motorcycle and the price range is also appealing. Though the basic service interval is 16k km, spare parts cost, service available and cost, and the ware and tare on spare that needs regular attention etc are still unclear. The way triumph made sure the reviews clearly states this one as a roadster is to make space for the other model. Lets see how they grow the sale and service network and a long term review 😊 happy to see Indian bike market getting some life 🎉

Nice review. Almost covered everything. If possible please try to add a dedicated section for RPM vs speed in top gears(5 & 6) in your ride reviews. It will give us more idea about the cruising capability of the bike. Like the RPM at speed of 60, 80 and 100 OR the speed at 4K, 5K and 6K RPM. Not just for this bike but for other bikes as well.

Great content and lot of clarity in your thoughts. Thanks for this. I was in a dilemma to buy this or no though I had booked the bike well before the price was anounced. Now decided to go ahead with buying. Just one question to you. I love hard rev because I'm used to 390 Duke. Will I disappointed with this bike?

Thank you. I found this engine to be really comfortable at 120-130 as well and I could reach till 160 and was happy with its performance. I have seen a few reviews where they spoke of 105 kmph to be a perfect and post that it’s vibey. Not sure of which bike they were riding, I literally felt that this is super refined till 120-130

KTM adventure is much more advance when it comes to technology however if you want a better and refined engine then Scrambler it is. This engine has a really good low end torque.

My 2022 KTM comes with an bi directional QS, Switchable MTC, 6 axis IMU sensor for cornering ABS, colour TFT display, 2 ride modes, 2 ABS modes and a 6 point LED headlight. Bonus point - this bike also has wheelie control which works using the MTC sensor so that you don't have accidental wheelies. Now, the triumph scrambler will have most of those except the QS, IMU sensor(for cornering ABS) and colour TFT display. So now the question is the scrambler 400 inferior? I don't know. It will likely be able to do everything that my ADV 390 can do and maybe somethings even better due to the better low end torque. That's the reason I'm asking Nitish as he is a more knowledgeable person in this matter as he himself is an owner of an adv 390 and has seen the scrambler 400 as well in person (and also ridden the very similar speed 400). Newbie squids like you need to calm down.

The coolant reservoir is down at the bottom and not at the top like it should be. So, I believe they must be using a coolant pump to push it through the radiator instead of letting gravity do it's work. Any thoughts?

Few things were expected. 1. Can the coolant box location be considered a de merit. 2. Tc off and on performances.

Coolant box is actually safe with a metal frame around it, even though the skid plate is fibre. This is a street bike hence TC Always on is fine.

@@deadnlovingit i saw other reviewers, who run this bike at higher speeds and revs, it shows significant vibrations over 120 kmph, and even high vibes at 150. A simple balancer shaft would reduce/ counter vibes even at higher engine speeds, meaning this motor might not have any balancer shaft at all. On the other hand, most people would not ride bikes at such ridiculous speeds, so the engineers might have fine tuned the vibes to remain minimum(or nil) in the average daily speed range, if there is a balancer shaft. I am still skeptical about this, so we cant be sure untill company itself mentions about this component, or we see the gearbox open in any of these videos
