I am from Prayagraj (Allahabad) and my house is in the same colony as Salim Sherwani's biggest factory that used to exist. The Umesh Pal shootout happened in my Sulemsarai locality itself. Nehru Park and Dhoomanganj is at a walkable distance from my home. Once while I was buying vegetables, there was a shootout that occurred in front of my own eyes. During Raju Pal killing, I still remember a curfew being put in our area when I was in school due to which I couldn't return home and had to stay in the school itself for 2 days. This entire video feels like a recap of a big part of my life.

It's really sad to see Muslims rioting on streets for Atiq's encounter. When Vikas Dubey was killed, Hindus didn't caused riots in fact supported the judgement because we saw him as a "Gangster" and nothing else. As i have been staying in Allahabad for more than 16-17 yeas, i have seen all the actions happening around us very up close, specially the incidents from 9:06, as in my colony, there were hoardings, banners of BSP with Raju pal's name in it for election campaigns, & i clearly remember, me & my family were coming back home from some work & we saw some police barricading on the main road (Grand trunk road or GT Road) along with some broken car windshields, pelted stones spread on the road, we somehow crossed the road & went to our home, & later i could see from my roof that behind my house only, lot of black smoke was spreading in the sky (as that main road was just behind my house & we later knew that it were the repercussions of the incident mentioned in 9:44) That day me n my fanily we all felt Lucky to escape that environment somehow, otherwise what if some of the stone pelters would have accidentally injured our family) Infact this police station which is highlighted in 10:46 is at a distance of only 100m away from my home, so it was very close for us & it was like a normal day for us in terms of hearung Atiq 's name almost everyday in some case or the other
