You can still play all the Nitrome games in the official Nitrome page, they will only ask you to install a program, reload the page and the program will open with the game you selected in the page, I played sandman some days ago

These Nitrome tunes always pop back into my head. So catchy, so creative. Honestly, the music in these games was, in my opinion, probably the best part (and Nitrome games were incredible, so that's saying a lot).

I didn't play this game much, but it made me realise what Sandy from Rise of the Guardians was based on.

Sandy was pretty much based on legend of the Sandman from European folklore. Even before that Neil Gaiman turned him into a character for DC's Vertigo editor in it's own comic, "Sandman" which is friggin' AWESOME by the way :)
