Boros Charm, Deflecting Palm, and Heartwarming Redemption are all pretty good Boros cards. I personally like Boros Nahiri in my build as well

There is also a Gruul 5 cost card that blows up a land and get's you a land and there are two Selesnya coloured cards that grab you a plains or forest into your hand but it still guarantees that you have the lands to play.

I would love to see a cEDH build ov Niv, as well as a more supefriends build.

I really wonder about your choice of manarocks. Wouldn't Signets be way more flavorful than a Sol Ring and the like?

Actually really like the spin for CEdh, maybe to spin some popular commanders that aren’t Tier 1 or 1.5. Cause the other Cedh channels are just gameplay really not too much on things to help add some powerful cards into a deck or just a deck tech like you did with tazzari and Niv! Loved both parts though!

I saw a dech-tech floating around that uses Astral Slide to trigger Niv-Mizzet every turn, among other combo shenanigans.

So I went ahead and spent about a month trading and buying cards for this deck...aaaaannndddd...it is an absolutely blast. Drawing 4 or 5 cards off Niv just feels go good. Being the policeman at the table and stopping other decks from being degenerate feels good. It plays a fair game and can be tailored easily to your meta. This is the first commander deck that I've actually made where I tore apart all the precons I've been collecting in order to build it. Thank you, DJ for this list. One card that I feel the deck might want is Struggle//Survive. This gives you a gruul card that can get your gy back into your library if the game is going long and it can do so from the gy in case its milled. Obviously, being in 5c means you can run gaea's blessing, or eldrazi, but, those choices aren't on theme of the guild cards. Also, because we can draw so many cards, Kruphix, God of Horizons seems like a reasonable include as well. I've also found Ral, Storm Conduit (the WotS version) to be very good in this deck. The scry helps set up Niv, he can ping other PW's when you cast spells, and doubling up a Merciless Eviction or Decimate can be great, and being Izzet, he fills in a less represented guild (Simic and Azorius being the most populated). @JumboCommander, do you by chance have any updates to this deck since you posted this video? I made my deck ravnica themed :) got each guild charm, each guild leader, a planeswalker for each guild, a spell from each guild, tomb of the guildpact, and a signet for each guild :) its really fun. Not massively powerful but it’s got some punch, and always have cards in hand.

I wouldn’t necessarily be upset if you made cEDH content, but i do have to say the main reason why this is one of my favorite edh channels is because of your janky roots man! I’m a jank player myself. One of my favorite decks is Noyan Dar and it was hugely inspired by you. So I’m loving the janky look at Niv more than the competitive one, especially since I pulled Niv at prerelease!!

I have been debating using Niv-Mizzet for Maze's End.

The cEDH channel I really like is cEDHtv he explains combos to you and has a whole bunch of budget builds.

My list is a bunch of two colors with the other niv mizzett cards that ping on draw and the other one that draws on ping using the elixir of immortality when needed to shuffle the graveyard into the deck to prevent whiffing and keep drawing ad nauseum until everyone is dead yeah 👍🏽

Poking around looking for cards for this deck, I found out there's a cycle of 5 artifacts called Borderposts that all have two colors in the cost. Theyre not good, really, but if you really want that card draw lol

Master Warcraft can easily decide over victory. I highly recommend that card especially in Multiplayer. It's either a fog, a good whipe on enemy creatures, or an unblock able attack. 4 mana power house!

I don't understand the whole, "For each color pair, choose a card that's exactly those colors from among them." is it only a white/blue creature for example? or can you get a white/white/blue? Can you choose a white/green/blue as a white/blue color pair? This card is confusing the hell out of me.

I thought it worked that if you got two reds, youd pick one, rinse repeat for every color. Even the judge at my prerelease had it work that way

My niv deck is just gain infinite mana and kill the table with an x spell. Niv helps find some of those pieces as well.

How did you forget Dreamhalls and Conflux? Searching for 5 cards for a simple discard or 8 mana is great and casting spells for a discard is phenomenal. Flavour wise? Conflux shows Bolas’ hand which Niv stole the elderspell from and dreamhalls is something that Niv would make

Never heard of food chain. Was like oh that is really cool. I would love to have that car for a couple of commander decks....then I realized again why I hate the Magic secondary market. If people actually want to own Magic cards and have cool or good ones they have to shill out a ton.

I'm pretty sure Niv-Mizzet isn't a she. And personally I'll be going for 5 color Avatar tribal with new Niv. He's an Avatar himself and his ETB grabs any of the Eventide Spirit Avatars.

Almost watched the whole video, right up until I realized you missed the biggest flavor theme. Only cards from the Ravnica plane. Genuinely from the plane, no planeswalkers who call Ravnica home, nothing through the planar bridge, only Ravnica cards. I have a deck I'm working on, I'm confident it'll be super low power, but I will play this deck for the rest of time. My Ravnica Commander Deck!
