Don't underestimate Hoover here. He & Nixon played these mental games all the time; boosting each other's egos, etc. Hoover played Nixon just like he played the other Presidents he served. He would let them know he had something on them, tell them he was keeping it secured for "their protection", and that determined his relationship with Presidents during their terms. Nixon reappointed Hoover when he was very old and many wanted him replaced, including those in his administration.

+FBRIANHUN1 True. A few of the last actual Presidents worthy of being one were either paranoid, became different men with power, and all the normal crap. Nixon made a few of the biggest mistakes ever(giving Israel nukes), going off the gold standard, and wasn't as corrupt as the past 3 Presidents we've had.
@TexasPsychoK
@TexasPsychoK 8 жыл бұрын
Good call, when I said he took off us off the gold standard, I was quoting Wall Street. Same diff when you look at each president who did something similar... that's what I was stating. Yes, France killed JFK when he said to Israel, no nukes if you want foreign aid, guys. I'm not ignorant, but I don't believe I'm always right. France helped America become a so-called Republic against the Brits. They were at the Alamo. We are all ignorant when it comes to US history, because history is almost always a lie written or agreed upon by the victors or elites. But you were correct about the Nixon/gold standard thing, yet, I was quoting a film. It was a final blow to the fight against the FED. Now you're killed or have no power when you speak about what's controlling us.

Hi, I have the answer up now on my channel (click on my user name). The vast majority of the tapes are of poorer quality than the ones I've uploaded. I've particularly tried to pick ones that are for the most part clear and can be understood without transcripts. That's also the reason I've focused on telephone conversations, which usually are clearer, rather than oval office or EOB recordings of meetings. There is extraordinary variation in quality with the Nixon Tapes.

@themeaningoflife38 also if you feel that kennedy was a pacifist,why did he send 16,000 troops in place of 900 advisors eisenhower had in to negotiate peace in 1963,even against his advisors warning against it bc. of what happened to the french colonists before them.Also if you go back to kennedy's interview with cronkite in sept. of 63, he clearly opposed withdrawal of troops and supported the american effort in south vietnam.So from his rhetoric, its obvious that he set up the platform for war

@themeaningoflife38 well not exactly true. if you read the mcnamara/taylor report, the president signed it under the expectation that the US would have trained enough south vietnamese soldiers, to take over some of the duties of US soldiers by 1965. So this withdrawal was not to surrender to the commies, but was an expectation that diem gov't in saigon would step up and win the war. The dissatisfaction of his gov't led to more US involvement.

If he started it, why was the French ambassador as well to Egypt and ones that lost. Yes the Egypt kings sister most likely and more. Nixon was leading for this guy but why and for whom? The attack verbage was real in one situation. The other means was about that war ..Intel and intent . It's not one perse , it was about discussing nuremburg and more . Why it was thought, seen and worried about the gases made for and the resonate of . The photos that showed in capacity Hitler and our top general Patton in a jeep together , a more same name local witness about the children, photos as well and threat toward him .
