Robot Wars Classics sees us look back at some of the best and most memorable battles in the show's history. Entry number 16 is the first wacky All-Stars melee from the Seventh Wars.
On March 16th, 2018, BBC announced that the reboot of Robot Wars was to end on their second channel after three series. Mentorn Media are currently "exploring a number of ideas" in order to find a new home for the show.
With your guys' continued support, we can continue to expose Robot Wars to people. Whether it's helping promote the show, or simply reminiscing, this channel will be here!
In fact, this channel is looking to expand in the very near future. BattleBots, King of Bots, and brand new types of Robot Wars videos have all been in the pipeline for a couple of months, and will hopefully start to be released soon! As long as you guys keep watching, this channel will continue. Let's hope Robot Wars can do at some point soon, too.

Just came back to rewatch this and realised how much I love the start. "3,2,1, Activate" *everyone immediatly turns to charge Shunt* and Shunt knew what was coming, went to counterattack but never stood a chance.

It's the fastest KO of a House Robot I think there ever was on the show, Shunt was flipped pretty much around 3 seconds after the fight started

When I was little I thought the house robots were badass but now I see they're just really heavy. I'd love to see that punching pos be torn apart by a modern spinner.

For me the funniest battle in the show's history, especially when the flipper and the drop zone activated in what seemed as retaliation for the House Robots getting battered! Only thing that was disappointing was that the two better machines went out

It was obviously intentional of Firestorm to drive down the pit - we all know how good of a driver Graham Bone is, and he never would have just charged down the pit by accident after all of the experience he got. And, he and Hazel were laughing themselves out of the arena at the end - I guess they were letting some of the others have a go at a trophy.

Amazon and Netflix might see the potential of this. The fact that battle bots is coming back again surely shows that there is still interest in robot fighting etc . Typical bbc for deciding to stop again just as the series gathered momentum !

@TheSmithersy Dara o Briain isn't that boring with the tech/scine stuff. He does Stargazing live with Brian Cox. The straight knockout format meant that some robots didn't get a chance to show what they were capable of (series 3 of the reboot was the best format they had done. It just needed more heats in my opinion). Also, Razer was always going to lose in the opening rounds. It had been about 15 years since they were champions and robots have evolved a lot more since then . Plus in general when razer was in his prime, the fights were really boring to watch looking back as it was grab, hold for a bit let go and repeat

@TheSmithersy I think people would still have found those interesting and it's aim to also get kids and others into robotics not just from fighting machines . Why would it kill interest if razer lost? For those that watched it in the past, they would be interested to see who would be the new machines that took its place and the new people wouldn't have watched the old show

it shouldn't end now, it's just begun, we have seen the advancements in technology and we are just scratching the surface, look at battlebots in america too, we can have so many more interesting fights, i'm so pissed off the BBC has so much trash TV and then the one good show other than the nature documentaries that inspires people to learn is taken off air.

Thanks for uploading the most comedic fight in RW, also the beeb have given their reason why they've cancelled it and I quote, we want to make room for new shows, now that is not a justifiable excuse that is Piss Poor considering they have many shows which have been on much longer. On a plus side it's good that hear Mentorn are looking for someone else to take it up, and my possible candidates are C4, Dave, Spike or perhaps Netflix/Amazon.

Since Firestorm has a fliper that pushes forward, it is incredibly difficult for them to flip anything out of the arena. The physics just aren't there.
