This kind of music invokes some kind of feeling that I can't fully explain. You get memories of things that never happened or it reminds you of something. A lot of these remind me of being in the backseat of my mom's car at night, watching the rain go down the window leaning on the doorsill.

I started listening to this album around last April when the pandemic first broke out-back when it got real quiet and still outside. I remember falling asleep watching those “exploring abandoned houses” videos, and waking up with your song “misunderstandings” stuck in my head. It gave me such a....melancholic, introspective calm (a welcome one!) in a time in my life where there was a lot of waiting and watching things fall apart, pandemic and otherwise. I’ve been loving ur stuff ever since. Your music’s all over my top 2020 on Spotify. It’s like... retrofuturistic, and almost a soundtrack to the little intimate mundanities of life- a quiet wait for the bus alone in the morning, a look out the window to an overcast sky while making breakfast....that kind of momentary peace found in solitude. ...Maybe not even ur intention, but it’s wonderful nonetheless! The mournfulness of Ganymede is hitting me different right now...it's so hard to not keep trying to cling to the past when you feel like life has astigmatized it's shape away from something whole and yourself from "the past". The deep irony being that in that past, you felt like this. That "it" is just here right now. That's hard to get back in contact with.

These beats are truly something full and permeating, something outside of human thought that you not just saw, but in fact... you WERE them in the moments you wrote them, when their symmetry was joyfully both there in your computer and your heart. The fact that you revealed them like that, even through something so simple like hearing a sax sample and saying "Yes" with your heart, in a life when we spend months at a time not truly seeing anything like that, that the joy of them working out is the same for me as it is for you, that's really something transcendent to me. It's bigger than death, bigger than our numbing habits, our avoidances...their beauty just is, and your joy in presenting it to others because you knew how to is really beautiful. It's clouds and then the sun comes in and it was there the whole time above the clouds. Thank you.
