Yes we also do this back home but not faux locks. We divide the hair like this and use thread to wrap like she is doing with kinky. We call it stick. Jeeeeez it HURT. Everybody does it and loved it but me I can count the number of time I have done it because I hate them. 😂😂🚶🏽‍♀️
