NKP 765: Thunder in the Autumn Rain

On October 14, I set out to the I&NE to see 765 on a fresh set of tracks opposed to the usual CVSR. Throughout the entire day, it was cold and wet but that did not stop the chase at all. Here, we chased the Fall Colors train from Angola - Ray before ending the chase to return home. Enjoy the video!

I really love how you can hear the joy that 765 has when she blows her whistle. :-) I can't wait to see her again at CVSR; she's become the pride and joy of Ohio as much as she is for Indiana. CVSR told everyone in their official website last year how disappointed they were when they had to cancel unexpectedly.

765 will never come back to the valley. The washout is way too unstable to handle its weight and will take years to be fixed.

Very Nice footage. I will say that is one of the best run bys I have seen. The engineer and Fireman on this trip know how to put on a show for the ticket holders. Nice Job guys. Love the return of the real sound after all these years, we got her voice back....

Thank you! And I couldn’t agree more, though I wish my shot turned out much better without the guy floating into my shot as it passed. That’s just the world of photography and videography. People are very unaware of the cameras around them

At 3:45 As the train begins to roll by a couple more seconds when they open Air coach enters you can see me wearing protective goggles with my vlogging stick and phone recording. Caught me in a good shot to. nice one man
