Just read about her in George McCalmn's Illustrated Black History, it's unbelivable the lenghts that 'main stream' American has gone to not pay homage to such history. There were others like Dr. Eliza Ann Grier that will never be heard of only because of the egos and hollow hearts of those who refused to accept that African-Americans are just as intelligent and capable as 'others'.
