For me personally this is one of the closest loopstation battles of all time, I‘d give Brez like 45% and NME 55% but it just comes down to personal preference imo, they both killed it!

Even though Saro might be the goat of loopstation, this battle is one of my favs. Like you said, Brez is a performer and he absolutely killed it. NME did too. But as a hiphop fan Brez's set just hit the spot for me, great reaction.

Fun fact, this was the first battle of the Loopstation competition. This battle really set the tone for the whole evening!

2019 is the best year for beatbox community big up to the participants that year, everyone get to have fun especially the crowd bopping.

My take. Brez only lost this battle simply because NME showed a more comprehensive set. Brez was very entertaining and had a high level of crowd work that you dont see very often in beatbox or loopstation battles, but he stayed very hiphop oriented whilst NME encompassed more genres by hopping between Twenty-one Pilots "Car Radio" and Sister Sledge "We Are Family". But, take into account of how all loopers alike perform in these battles. Most of the time, you can break them down into: A.Set up (building the beat in interestingways) B.Product (a complete song) C.Breakdown (a stripped version of the song), and D.Drop (the elements of the song are broken down almost completely and now serve to hype the audience) And if there's enough time. E. Second drop Honestly tho, both Brez and NME are dope loopers.
