people are saying that this isnt "mixxpop" but you can literally hear the weird rhythm switch ups and the chord progression take minor turns during the bridge, which i think adds the PERFECT amount of nmixx to this song i like that unexpected changes has become their thing, and i think slowly, in SMALL increments with GOOD delivery, they'll start normalising their sound for the wider public, or rather, the wider public will normalise their sound

the usage of a nursery rhyme and the doll song from squid game woah. the writers said they wanted to make a song that will be memorable instantly and they did just that!

Listening to this, with STAYC's "Teddy Bear" and Kep1er's "I do, do you?" back to back to back is curing my depression lol. I'm loving these happy mood-typa songs

i didn't even know the original melody from the chorus was in french 😭😭.. we have our own version of it in brazilian portuguese that doesn't end in "ding dang dong" so that completely threw me off but overall it's growing on me. also i'm pretty sure it's one of those situations where like each country/language has their own adapted version of it so it's a melody that's universally known 🫶
