In the interest of making our research accessible to the public, the National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) opens platforms to its Research Associates and Collaborators, allowing them to discuss their works and expertise with the public.
Last April 24, 2024, the Zoology Division launched the first leg of “NMP Talks: An Afternoon with NMP Research Associates and Collaborators,” featuring NMP Research Affiliate Movin Nyanasengeran and Research Collaborator Tan Yen Yi, Ph.D. of the National University of Singapore. They led the discussion on the Biogeography of the Philippine Islands and the extensive Natural History Collections of Singapore.
True to its mandate, the National Museum of the Philippines continues to educate the public about the country's natural heritage through its public programs, research, and exhibitions.
