The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has declared a state of emergency on oil production to boost Nigeria’s crude oil output and grow its reserves. Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPCL, Mele Kyari, announced this during the 23rd edition of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition Week in Abuja. Thank you , the guy analysing his speech is quite to the point. This programme Anchor is talking nonsense, Mele Kyari knows what he's doing, just playing to the gallery. Why are they still issues licences to import petrol when Dangote refinery is producing petrol.

Someone is definitely manipulating this refinery. In 2019, we were producing 2.1 million barrels daily with no refineries. Now we have a refinery that can produce over 650k barrels every day. The largest refinery in the world. And the oil production it’s still 2 million? Someone is manipulating how much oil our country should get. Or should be allowed to get.
