It was that crazy triple bounce INT that that new Venables OU defense reeled in. That one blew my mind!!! Yeah you can argue he shouldn't have caught it. But MAAAAN . What are the odds. I just knew on that final bounce, it was going to the ground with a final reaching attempt, but he straight up made a play from chaos! I love it. It's crazy stuff like this that makes College Football the greatest sport on earth! Boomer Sooner Baby #☝️

Brother, you are not kidding. In fact, I have questions about the booth guy versus the field refs. I feel like the booth was trying to save the reputation of the field refs, but it's probably all the same crew. It felt like all day the booth was trying to nope them, but they just were not having it on the field.

Everyone on the team can tackle. Even when they bust, help arrives, and the tackle is made. It's quite the turn around. Non-OU fans don't even realize how bad that D was, for years now.

I still don't see a legit defense. Much better than previous years but not good enough to win us games against Texas and ok state and others

OU tackling is more improved than any unit I can recall, in history. In just two years, they went from roughly zero plays who can make an open field tackle, to all of them.

as a cincy fan it was a fun environment and i’m glad to have played oklahoma before they leave next year. that being said our offense is dookie our defense did all they could against an oklahoma offense. gg sooner fans 🤝

Cincy looked to have a bunch of really good athletes on both sides of the ball so holding them to 6 points is pretty impressive. OU doesn't have a standout running back this season and they're not rushing the ball very effectively but that being said when you have a really good defense it doesn't take that many points to win games. After the TX game we'll know what we need to know about this OU team.

@yinyuetrifecta It's one thing to get there from the AAC. It's a completely different thing from a P5. It's 8 more of these. You shouldn't be offended. This is Cincy's new level now. They earned their way here. Not paid for it. They'll figure it out. WVU came in the Big 12 with multiple NFL players on their team. They went on a 5 game losing streak. Every P5 school has multiple NFL players any given year. Cincy played hard. And they held OU to 20. They should be proud of that. It's just going to take time to get to the level Cincy wants to get to. They'll get there, though.

I will say our defense looked a little iffy this past game but they got the job done when it mattered! Once they get used to everything and get super consistent, this defense will be insane! Offense needs work (fire the OC). Lebby’s play calling was aweful. We have great players on the offense but nothing will happen till we get lebby out of norman

@@funkymonkey9781 correct… and they are an awful team. Colorado got creamed by Oregon and tcu took an L to that team. We shouldn’t be on the same level as tou this year, and we are on a lower level than them offensively

Yep, pushing and pulling is within the rules. Didn’t used to be. But we have the Bush Push to thank for that change
