Let me show you how to make this beautiful Book Box which will hold 5 or 6 A6 (A2) greeting cards and envelopes. Please note that Pool Party Cardstock is no longer available in 12" x 12" sheets. I suggest you use Soft Sky and have listed the cardstock and a Soft Sky Ribbon in the list of products below.

Ooh, I love this card box, Jan!! I have used many of your card designs over the last several years and I have made, and really like, your box that is called Kelly’s Box Bag. I wanted to try a new box this year for the gift of cards that I give to 13 friends and relatives, and you once again have another great box that is perfect for my use! It also is big enough and sturdy enough to hold 10 cards and envelopes. It is an easy box to make, your instructions are great, and I already have everything I need to make it. Thank you!

Jan I love your work. I too am a SU demonstrator here in the US. I am going to be casing your box and can't wait to see how mine turns out. I have taken the measurements and written out the directions hopefully will turn out as lovely as yours. I have a craft fair next weekend and will be making one of these for display to hopefully generate some new customers. Thanks aging for your wonderful ideas.

What a fabulous idea Jan ,with different DSP could be used for thank you / christmas / bridesmaid / christning / just because gifts, making something special extra special..... Jan you have done it again hunni you make everything look so easy. I followed along and made your box. Its lovely. I love the paper you used. Its the only sheet in this pack that I like! As usual Jan, a beautiful design. I use Tombow and have noticed that I have never seen a demonstrator use the wide end. Can you say why.Greetings from New Zealand.

Hi, Pauline. Yes, I have worked the measurements out but I haven't tested them! The measurements for the book "cover" should be 8" x 11", scored at 5" & 6"; the box should be 8 1/2" x 10 5/8" scored at 1" & 2" on all sides. Please let me know how you get on. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
