I was thinking the same thing. I live in Canada drive to U S. Wish India and Pakistan can be friends too. In my area there are both Indian and Pakistani we are all the same people we communicate in Hindi/Urdu what a pity the two countries can't get along. I have hope some day we will.

I born in muzqffarabad live in Karachi visit Karen and Sharda with family three years back. Sharda and kel are more devolpe even now tao butt is also devolpe . Abt one million tourist from pakistan visit.neelum.valley every year. No foreigner allow in neelum valley. Abt twelve hour journey from muzqffarabad to last point tao butt. Also was excited to know iOK side of Karen. Many thanks

I think india side is more beautiful because of less human settlement. Other side looks hap hazard development, naturally beauty is loosing on that side. Tourism should be there but more organized and systematic. Architecture should be kept in mind because those concrete building are reducing the aesthetics and harmony of the place.

Gujratis are welcome to all tourist places but being from NE I observed lot of Gujju tourists having very less regards for the place. Firstly you have relatively quite large groups with mota bhai chota bhai together, then when you are in a public place and you need to ask some thing please dont shout, rather go near that person and say what you want. I agree you are vegetarians but try having local vegetarian cuisines rather than searching for gujrati dishes on the remotest side of the country. Lastly please dont dispose throw stuff.

To be honest, the development on Pakistan side looks haphazard and chaotic. The Indian side should make sure this beautiful area is developed with a master plan that promotes the natural beauty instead of letting people build random buildings and hotels

Tourism can be encouraged in Indian kashmir too. However, there are major constraints which unfortunately are imposed by the government on the opposite bank. They do not have any infiltration, nor are there any terrorist activities. That makes a lot of difference.
