Why don't you manually change the gears instead of have it set to arcade? I mean you can have an automatic clutch but you can also have more control if you can controll what gear you are in. It's not hard to have it setup with a automatic clutch setup in game as I don't have a clutch. One button shift up. One button shift down.

On a lot of these scrambles, it looked like many had 'open' hubs and front drive shafts that could have made them derivable, even with missing a rear drive shaft? Not sure, but could be something to try in the future. These are a lot of fun to watch. :)
