I forgot to mention that you need to turn off no spread after you're done standing still shooting bots. No spread will always keep your weapon accurate while moving. This will make it impossible to improve at counter-strafing. Be sure to turn it off! Shoutout to @pate237 for catching that.

what order do you do your routine in ryder? Im doing aimlabs, recoil control, 1000 bots, prefires, dm. Also is using auras on prefires bad and is aimlabs necessary or is aimbotz and in game experience enough for microadjustments?
@Ryderdie1
@Ryderdie1 Ай бұрын
@@monty2325 that’s essentially my exact order, but I do bots then recoil control. In my honest opinion though I think any order is okay as long as you’re putting in the work.

2:04 I'm not really qualified to give this advice, but wanted to emphasize; it's important to not counter-strafe until right before the moment you want to shoot. I just wanted to note for your own practice, since in the video there's a huge delay between when when you counter-strafe, stop, track the bot and then shoot, when it's more ideal to strafe while tracking and then counter-strafe right before you want to shoot accurately, which is more difficult. I wouldn't be surprised if you were taking it slow for the video, but I wanted to point that out just in-case. 👍

no spread also makes you 100% accurate while moving so might not be the best thing to have on while trying to improve

I have been trying to find some good videos on different aim routines people do and haven't heard anyone give more specific time numbers other than the DM for an hour. How long on average would you say you train in a day vs how long are you playing matches? I am still trying to find the sweet spot for myself, as I find that I am doing aim botz for half an hour, DMing for an hour, refragging for half an hour, and spray control for 10 mins or so, but then I'll only have 3-4 hours worth of time to actually play faceit games during weekdays after work. Kind of makes me feel like I am training my aim more than actually playing the game (which I am unsure if it is beneficial or not). Love the vid though and will def be implementing some of the aim botz routine into my own!
@Ryderdie1
@Ryderdie1 Ай бұрын
I know what you mean when you say “train my aim away.” When I first started playing CS I would do 99% playing 1% training. And now I’m almost the entire opposite. But even though that’s the case and sometimes I do feel that “trained my aim away” feeling, my play is far more consistent. Once I started practicing more than I play matches, I climbed in elo faster than I ever had.
