Coming from a 1st year Uni student, CGP revision guides are really good, clearly set out, easy to understand but they go into quite a bit of detail too. I did Romeo and Juliet and A Christmas Carol at GCSE too, they’re both great texts but I might be biased as I’m an English student who is passionate about helping students, especially with GCSE revision etc.

Coming from someone who has just started y12, so did my GCSEs in the summer, they aren’t as bad as everyone says. The advice I would give to lily is to revise properly for all her mocks and make the revision resources then, so when it comes to the actual GCSEs she has all her resources available to her. I found this very helpful. Also, I would advise doing many past paper questions for all her subjects as they tend to repeat the format of many questions. I’m a big fan of you guys and good luck with everything❤️

Good luck lily, I had my GCSEs 3 years ago one of the hardest years of school but it was also the most rewarding as you then get your own choices on college or sixth form for your future :)
