I totally agree with you. I feel the same way.

Pile 1: Wow, reading your scenario gave me chills as we have some similar experiences. My connection started in 1980 when I was 15 and he was 29. It was instant soul recognition and magnetic attraction. However I was too young to realize all of this. Years later, I understood. We were in and out of each other's lives for years. Every time we'd run into each other, it was like we had never been apart. He would be very stoic and acted always in control (Virgo sun) but his eyes would give his emotions away. He was married when we first met. To my knowledge, still is married. Has kids and grandkids. I'm also married and have two adult children. I love my husband very much, but the intensity I had with my connection, who I know is my TF, was on another level. Something you can't explain, you just feel it. I have wondered if he felt the same about his wife vs me. We've never pushed this past the boundaries as both of us grew up religious and respect each other's vows. Last time we connected, he invited a couple of peers of mine from our HS tennis team to his tournament. He was coaching another team. My peers showed up later than me, so I said, "Hi" to him and he barely said "Hi" back. I stood in the background for 90 minutes wondering why he was giving me the silent treatment. My team mates and me had attended a few of his matches prior and he was always happy to see me and talk. This time was completely different. I was conflicted and walked away. I gave him a few days before I sent him an email asking him why he gave me the cold shoulder? He didn't reply. He's ghosted since. That was a few years ago. I'm 59 and he's 72. So as you, we're too old to go through all the obstacles to get together. However, at the very least, I would welcome reconciliation to get some closure and know our connection is on good standing. I've since moved to Florida. I'm sure he has no clue I've moved. I feel your pain and what having this type of connection can do to a person's soul. @@gemini6828 Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I, also, thought my situation was atypical. Reading your story was like reading mine. Very similar the strength of the connection. In my case, he found me on Facebook and sent me a Friend Request. I didn't see it until now because I don't use FB. I sent a message but he still hasn't replied. I'm not surprised because it's always been that way. I suspect he's my Twin Flame, too. Certainly, I never felt like this for any man I've met in my life, not even my two husbands. I'm divorced from both now. No relationship ever worked for me. This man always lurked in my mind in the background. Thanks again for sharing. I'm so glad I'm not alone. xx
