Can you follow the same steps but with a sublimation mug? I mean, print the design on transfer paper, then press it together with foil paper, then press that to the mug using a mug press?

No dear. Toner of laser printer are plastic particles actually. They melt in heat and adhere foil material with themselves. On cooling down, toner material returns to its solid form and on peeling only toner portion adheres the foil

So the laser toner acts as some kind of adhesive or chemical transfer?

Yes. The ink, when heated, becomes like "glue" and then the foil sticks to it.

This is our own gold foil. It must be used at OKI laser printer only. We sell this foil with the price of 1.5 USD per A4 sheet
