Before we head back into the regular lawn care season, I have a bunch of little tasks and jobs I was trying to complete. Well on today's to do list, it included polishing up the trailer and removing some black streaks, as well as repainting the sideboards to the dump insert.
These little jobs and tasks sometimes are difficult to do during the regular season, but before the actual season starts I love trying to pay attention to the details and clean up what we can.

@@FerrariTeddy check your state website for everything: info on aid, links for the list of what jobs are allowed and what's not ( so far lawncare has been considered essential in all the states I've heard, so unless your governor says "stay home" go for what you know until you can't ), and whatever up to date coronainfo that's available. 🙏🏻🙏🏾

Hey Brian idk if you remember my comment from 4 weeks ago but I just started my landscaping/lawn care company this year. Needless to say, it’s going to be hard. But when the going gets tough, you get tougher. I believe that the key to overcoming this challenge is the ability to adapt and perseverance. No one should ever give up unless they are forced to. Great video Brian, my trailer roof is different so I don’t have that black streak problem! My boards are flush with my tarp so I can still use my tarp system! I use the Milwaukee measuring wheel! We started on March 9th thank goodness got about 45 clean ups done in Massachusetts and today we just got shut down no work for 2 weeks need to lay 14 employees off Hope everyone stays safe

Here in Springfield Illinois we are on a stay at home order as well but our lawn care is still deemed essential! Everything is going the same just cutting off all face to face meetings with clients

Gotta be the sealant running as the panels shift? I have a 2019 red enclosed as well. I'll keep an eye out for this. I think you should add another board on each side of the dump. Allows you to carry more loads, and would even out the appearance of the truck height.

On painting your sides, use a primer or boiled linseed oil, then paint them. 2 coats of black. Should last longer.

In Toronto, on Canada we are aloud if your a maintenance company servicing commercial businesses and even snow removal it says is ok But we were also very worried they would say no maintenance business You may be ok since you are a maintenance business But could be different

I have the double sides on my dumper dog and it adds a ton of room. Are you wishing you would have went stainless? I know I am, my dealer talked me out of the stainless one😭 only because they didn't have one in stock. I believed him hook line and sinker. Said would only rust if I was holding salt

I have been emailing my district's state representatives and senators all day. Obviously they are very busy and have a lot on their plates. So waiting to get a response. I also messaged my local chamber of commerce. They believe that we are ok to operate but aren't 100%sure as of this afternoon. So time will tell. I know for a lot of us especially in northern Michigan we don't usually start for a couple of weeks. But with this early spring we can start some jobs now. So hopefully we will have an answer soon.

I'm alittle confused by our state's executive order #2020-21, didn't seem like leaf clean-ups were "essential" services currently, will worry about mowing when the time gets here. The local dump closed, so can't dump leaves near me now. The rush will come in May, after we get through this next 30 days.

Just so you know, the last measuring wheel I had was out by 2'. So if your finding your over or under on material, it may be because your wheel is not calibrated properly.

There’s a key code combination that will disable it yes! Check the owners manual, it’s in there.

I believe you still have to pay taxes owed by 4/15 estimated but if you owe more if you file in July there may be penalty if you under paid. Call your accountant😎
