Thank you very much for this Elizabeth !!!! I was denied for the first time yesterday. I had previously done a number of mock interviews with people and had practiced judiciously. So I wondered what went wrong. My school starts in August and my program only starts in Fall each year. I was thinking of reapplying so as to be able to still meet up with this year’s program. Please what do you think

I'm sorry to hear about your visa denial. Typically, I would suggest considering deferring your admission and trying again later. However, if you are determined to reapply, take some time to reflect on your previous interview and identify areas for improvement.

That's one way Liz but, it's also good not to place all eggs in one basket. Time is also a factor. Some of our people in Jamaica who were denied were admitted at Universities in China for the same courses.

I am preparing for that after 6months of denied…I think I was denial cuz I actually mention just my brother as my sponsor without mentioning my own self since I work too

It's good you're preparing again. Make sure to include both your brother's support and your own income in your application. Also, practice a lot for the interview, as the denial might not have been just because of the sponsor issue. Good luck!

Was denied but from how it went I immediately knew why I was denied,it seemed she wanted to approve but immediately it got to funding everything changed so I want to reapply

I'm sorry to hear about the denial. since you have identified that funding was a significant factor in the denial, before reapplying, consider addressing the funding concerns highlighted in the previous denial, strengthen ties to your home country, and be well-prepared to answer questions during the new visa interview.

I need your advice I got a date for 15 August 2024. But my program start that is 14th August and class start by 19th August. Should I apply for emergency date?

Given that your program starts on 14th August and your visa interview is scheduled for 15th August, you should apply for an emergency appointment. Provide evidence of your program start date and explain the urgency in your application. Additionally, inform your school of the visa situation in case you eventually arrive late.

I trying applying for emergency date, I saw a condition that you have to apply within 60days to your resumption day I'm confuse because I have 78days to my program start date. What do you advice
