On this episode of the Adventure Agents Axe and Tex are doing a no fish no Switch survival fishing challenge where if they don't spear any fish they don't get to play Nintendo Switch and also they starve. Tex overexerts himself and nearly drowns from a shallow water blackout. He ends up being air lifted in a helicopter to an ambulance.

oh my gosh, I cried watching this. im so grateful you are okay! Axel was able to remain so calm, all the survival skills you taught him give him so much confidence in situations like this. Agent Trinity's response when you called her made me tear up, what an amazing best friend, wife and mama. God protected you, Patrick!!! You have much more purpose to fulfill in this lifetime! I'm very glad to hear you're OK, and do admire just how much of your life -- your lives -- your vulnerability you share with total strangers online. Your absence was noted, and generated a good amount of worry for those who regularly view your content and send their support. I would have harsh words for anyone who begrudges you the right to some time off and a break from the internet. But a suggestion. If one of you just produced a short video saying "we're taking some family time" . . . the worst-case scenarios would not haunt the thoughts of those who care for you and yours as the months tick by. I know how much you love making content and I started imagining scenarios catastrophic enough for you to disappear for months without a peep. (If you did peep somewhere, I didn't see it. KZfaq is the only social media I use).

Yes, you are an impressive boy. Keeping your cool on the rocks, persistence in the family mission of documenting things even as they flew away with your father, then keeping yourself safe and extracting yourself from the rocks. I couldn't have done half as well at your age. Tex and Trinity have done/ are doing an amazing job not just with you but with all the kids. Hummingbird is a cheery delight and I can't wait to see Cedar's personality emerge. I think he's going to be a real force of Nature!. But Axe's personality is so unique, inquisitive and quietly confident. I'd bet he's rocking some considerable IQ horsepower under the hood. He acts like such a grown-up at times it's easy to forget he's still a boy. And BTW Axe, we do love it when you let the boy out to play. Don't be in too big a hurry to grow up. You have so much support to be exactly the person you are in this moment, and the person you have yet to become. BTW2, there's probably more than a few of us out here who think your folks are cool and wish they had a growing-up experience like yours.

I visited your channel a couple weeks ago and had been wondering what has been happening with you all. I'm glad you ended up being alright after this event and glad you are seeking to better educate yourself on these issues to prevent them in the future. Very close call. I also appreciate the resource you provided at the end. I'm going to study that also and am hopeful as a result of your experience that I will never have to go through that now that you have helped educate me. Thank you.

Wow this had me ugly crying even though I already knew you ended up okay. That was heart wrenching. You all handled it beautifully though. So glad you’re okay. Also, I’ll definitely be checking that website and adding it into our homeschool education because we have an in ground pool in the back yard.

Sounds like you experienced shallow water blackout. Your very lucky considering you survived while in the ocean. Many people die in a simple shallow swimming pool when they experience it. Glad your ok man

My initial thought was rhabdomyolysis. Glad you pushed through, that's a miracle!! I know some divers in Hawaii that also push themselves to the extremes. I'm talking east side Big I, gnarly waves! I'm a big weenie and I'm not brave enough for diving in the ocean! Amazing what yall do! Please learn from this (I think you did 😅) and listen to your body. And always bring food! I'm constantly telling my partner this too 😅

Man that almost happen to me to. While three pronging for koles and other fry fish. I was trying to get 3 koles on one drop. But in the process I don’t have a good breath hold, and some how came out healthy and well. Oh and i never went to hospital because i had dive partner. Always remember to have a dive partner. 😊

Wow man. This was intense. I was watching with my 5yo. We were both really worried and scared for you. We're super happy that you're ok. I want to thank you for posting this. I scuba dive and have been teaching my kids water safety. This video is a fantastic lesson for them. All your vids are fantastic lessons. We've only watched this vid once so far (it was a little intense for him) but I'm already planning another viewing so I can talk him through what happened. A lot of lessons here, thank you again for sharing this with us! (By the way, Jon (my 5yo) wants to come see you guys in Oregon... We live in Turkey 😂, maybe someday!)

I'm so glad you're okay. I did not know this was such a thing. Now I will read more into it for sure . I have been following your videos for a long time now. I don't comment much but I love your videos very much. And I'm truly glad you're okay. I got really emotional when you called your wife before the helicopter picked you up. Not many men call their wives best friends and that was awesome to hear you say that . And I must say you have a very nice radio voice. Very easy listening to. One question was the medical emergency free or cost? Because if it’s not that will cost a lot. It’s already very expensive with a normal ambulance but for a helicopter it’s gonna be like 3x the price

When Patrick was doing the thumbnail for the video he had his mouth open and sense he cep do the thumbnail till he the purfect one he probably got to much salt water in his system and that’s why he started blacking out and throwing up

I had a feeling it was something to do with your oxygen/c02 levels. I’ve had panic attacks that have made my entire body go numb, tingle, spasm, etc.
