one of the games that i've been playing for a while. glad to see that you started playing it. if you want competitive pvp, this is the game for you (Though the violent (extra turn) procs still hunts me till this day)

new subscriber because I watched you for Nino Kuni CW and have played SW for like 9 years. Level up that Amber (water battle angel), Sonia (wind Harp Magi) and rush fusion for Sigmarus (water pheonix)and Veromos (dark ifrit) and flex another mon (maybe shannon or another heal/supp) and you have a solid team. If you want to be pvp based and are buying runes, buy Violent or Will runes. They are mainly used in PvP. Plus, if not F2P then buy all the account specific materials (one time purchases, they are a great deal). Keep the vids comin! P.S. Also rush to complete the summoners way and quests, they give you great noob items. Any chance to get a free mon, check to see if it can be fused with Veromos or Sig, that will same alot of time.

I used to play this game religiously back in the day. Even some 2 star units can be insanely good with the right runes. Also some units can be used to build better monsters like Valkeries.

I'm still playing this game and I played it for 8 years on and off but you will need to check monsters that are 2* and 3 * that has 2nd awakening it's like a 3rd evolution which can help you clear very hard floors some of them can be used for fusion to get staple nat5 in fusion hexagram looking forward to the next video

Regarding the red gems, they're best used to refresh energy as you will be refreshing energy most of the time in this game to farm them runes. Main difference between War of the Visions as you tend to save for summons.

BTW if you want to try second awakening I would advice the wind martial cat because she guarantees a crit as long as there are harmful effects

I spent way too much of my life on this game. 3 years I played it for multiple hours per day. It took over my weekends. One of my phones overheated because of it. Never again. But I hope you do have fun with it!

Silver mons are more evoling fodder, just level via senario as you need WAY too many of them silver units to power up units and its really expensive mana wise. Also, nat 5's are not needed what so ever in the early game. Theres only really a handful that are useful in PVE and almost all the quickest teams are doable without summoning a single scroll so dont be bummed about not pulling much as there isnt much to pull at the start! Use your free nat 4 selection you get on someone like Tyron so you can clear TOA with relative ease as thats a big milestone for a new player!

summoners war! best gacha ever. nat 3s and 4s are useful in this game. at a minimum in arena, you'll need like 2x 5* that can pair with 4*s well. ignore defense attacks was the meta when i was playing (lushen/4* joker and fire elemental (3*) - for guild siege (your main source of gems). enjoy the guild siege. i always said wotv should have a guild siege like SW's. and the materia should have been like the runes here.

Good luck! My account is about 7 years old and it is not really suitable for pvp yet. Of course if you play religiously you will get there in under a year for sure. I hope this doesn't discourage you as I do love the game.

Ive been playing thia game for alomst 10 years, still play to this day. My advice, don't chase monsters. The summon rates are shit. Use red crystals for energy refreshes, and farm farm farm. Runes are the single most important thing in this game.

Ofc 5* seems natuarlly better but there are some really good 2* and 3* out there. Dont buy those Magic Essence Packets for 300 Crystals, they aint worth it. Also dont use Crystals for Summons. Gz on Amber(water battle angel) shes really good.

When you get further along there is a process called second awakening for some of the two and three stars to make them much better. The will hell you be efficient early game. I would never use crystals for direct summoning. You can buy packs or use energy refills with those.

I played Summoners War for 6 years before playing WOTV. Summoners War may seem cartoonish but there's a reason why a 10-year-old Gacha game is still thriving better than what WOTV could ever dreamed. Just a warning SW progression is very challenging and way slower than WOTV. Nat 5 will make your life easier but they are just an icing on the cake. You can progress on most of the content with just a select 2* to 4*. The game even promotes 2* or 3* by giving them what they call 2nd awakening to which 4* and 5* are not entitled. If you really want a real strategy game this is the one to play. Learn everything about RUNES since there are no weapons here just a strategic set of runes to power up your monster. Pay attention to "Fusion Monster" before you even start playing and most of all watch videos not just about tier list but what are the key monsters so you won't waste time on storage units. Lastly, we don't rely on fodders to level up a monster unless it is for skill up. Best thing PVP is played manually unlike WOTV lols.

I would recommend following the summoners way quest there will give you great rewards.

I hear this game is what raid shadow legends based its game off of. I haven’t played this one but have played Raid. But ya these games usually only have low star count champs as food to level up good champs

Best part of this game is when u get a very very rare monster, u do not need dupes or shards to max it. Just gear it the best you can, unlike others where u need tons of copies

pull w/ scrolls, maybe spend xcrystals on either the packs or shop refreshes, as long as you have mana to buy scrolls from the shop

some advice: you should never expect to get a nat5 light/dark unit, if you get one, you'll be incredibly lucky

If you are game, there are people who sell starter accounts with really good nat 5 light and dark mobs (so hard to get even those playing 10 years don't have one) for around 15 -20 dollars

It's funny because what I like about gachas is character collection, and I hate when the game focuses on PVP (especially when it has base attack/defense and things like that), and that's why I never gave this game a chance, even though it has such cute characters. Interesting to see how things are viewed differently depending on the person

I used to play this game like a few years ago , but the 5* rate of this game is super low. Just be careful for spending on this game.

Don't use crystals for summons, best progression is to use crystals for energy refill and farm runes
