Jax is the character who is the most active and funny when in the company of friends. And when he is left alone, he becomes depressed.

The detail of Jax having doll stuffing is actually pretty cool. Instead of only doll-people,such as Ragtha,having stuffing almost everyone might have it. Just adds to the “they’re all caine’s toys” vibe.

Man I really like how the fans are exploring Jax's character. I mean, angst animations are nothing new, but with Jax it hits different because he masks his real emotions so thoroughly. Even in the show you can see he is self aware and calculated, his quirky carefree attitude is clearly a facade or a coping mechanism.

I tell you if Jax actually abstracts in the actual show it’s going to truly be a long day for the fans to get used to.

Yeah, it would actually be the most confusing and plot twisting thing ever if Jax got abstracted. It makes sense, though, hiding his true emotions.

To be fair, I think the appeal of Jax is that he's funny, but also that he clearly acts like he doesn't care about anybody to distance himself from the situation in order to not abstract. But deep down, he's struggling just as much as the others, if not more. And when his facade will eventually break, it's gonna be an emotional episode for sure.

that's exactly how i see Jax and i'm so happy to see a video perfectly representing that. it has been proved multiple times that the most calm person in certain situations, is the one who has lost their mind first. but seeing other abstract is more terrifying than being stuck in a game with no memory of your previous life. his 2d self is now everything he has left and it's soo obvious that he's trying super hard to keep his shit together, by still letting out his anger and frustration, not too much at a time by causing (or enjoying) chaos, problems and basically anything negative that happens to the circus

WOOOW the animation is amazing the fact that Jax has "two faces" one where he is joking and even a little upset but he is really hurting inside is so wow I loved it, apart from the fact that you put the other characters in the doors, which have already been abstracted, is such an incredible detail, I loved it and the ending where Jax gets corrupted and sees Ragatha and Pomni and just lets out a smile, he feels alone with that smile that he completely gave up on trying to find the exit door, and without a doubt the animation represents it perfectly, I loved it Without a doubt, in the incredible digital circus Jax is the one who hides the most secrets and without a doubt you managed to represent him completely in the animation, without a doubt a masterpiece, I loved it :3

Smartly done using Kovach's cover, a cover of a power song for Raggedy Andy, in order to showcase Jax at his weakest, the double side of "i have a smug cool side" and "oh god I'm never getting out of here", well done and extremely well animated!!

Great animation, the abstraction bit being a nightmare was a cool idea and got me good. I've always liked the idea that Jax is only sane because he's able to find joy in being a jerk to others, but if he's left alone he'll start to crack faster than everyone else.

I think It would be pretty cool to see him like abstract RANDOMLY alike everyone is fine and then out of nowhere he just starts abstracting. Because he appears as he always does, but no one knows what he’s really feeling and they all assume he’s a-okay

I want to see this as a full series NOW. I want a series to see what jax looks like when no one else is around like alone

I really hope they approach his character like this, I absolutely cannot get enough of the “I act all big and bad but I’m actually a scared depressed mess” trope

No because he’s the youngest and he’s the most traumatized and it fits so well for some reason. he just acts like s little jerk to prevent himself from reaching his breaking point and abstracting.

The fact this was played to such a depressing animation adds so much too it, Jax smile is a facade and general calm character He's not a toy, he never was one He's human.

This animation is so smooth, and just amazing!! I love Jax's character, and sure it's only the pilot but there is no way that someone with this type of personality, in this place, fully aware he can never leave is perfectly fine Plus, we've seen a few times that his default expression is a giant wide smile, fitting with the character sure but it's his resting face therefore it's not always gonna be a genuine smile Everyone is so troubled, so it's safe to say that behind in his room the jurk persona drops, he's just scared, and the youngest there so he must of been a teen when he got trapped And this animation is a perfect way to show how Jax feels, with how little we know, plus there's so much angst of Ragatha and the song "rag dolly" might as well put his song to use as well :)

If this were to happen in a future episode, it would be very interesting, a good character development. Jax, despite being a very carried away and relaxed guy, hides a lot of pain inside, there is material for a Flashback to the characters' past, especially his.

Omg I love this animation so much!!! It really shows Jax's character in such a great way! I feel so bad for him! 😭💔 Also, the animation is absolutely amazing! The love and work put into this animation is very apparent and it definitely paid off!

I literally love jax angst (dont ask me why, i just like it) so yeah this just became one of my favourite tadc animations so far. Not gonna lie i hope we’re getting some of jax angst in the actual episodes, and maybe even a character development, it would be cool in my opinion

This is the best fan animation I’ve ever seen of TADC, I really appreciate how you stuck true to how Jax’s facial expressions to be in-character while making it expressive enough to understand his stress and fear. I also love the detail you put of adding the old characters to show that it was in the past before Pomni! Good job I love this so much !!!!!

Jax blames his plushie for that 😂 I also doubt Jax will abstract in the future, his personality would most likely prevent that unless something makes him insane…which I don’t wanna see

I have a theory: The reason why jax is always so mean is because he wants to hide his true emotions and he is actually depressed and is on the verge of abstracting and wants to hide it because he doesn't want his friends to feel bad for him and doesn't want pressure on himself

Jax has a lot of Kokichi Ouma energy for me. In which on the surface he’s a trickster but there’s a lot deeper of a character there that’s terrified of his situation. I mean he’s actively running away from Kaufmo in the pilot and seems upset when he’s finally put into the cellar. I’m very curious as to what’s going to happen to him in the future episodes. Doesn’t help that he’s also purple.

damn, this animation and story gives me goosebumps. on the one hand, it’s stupid to come up with something only after one pilot episode and make some kind of depression out of it. but on the other hand it looks very canonical... in this episode, Jax was visibly nervous to see Kaufmo turn into a monster. I think not only because I was afraid for my life The moment he found Gangle and Kinger he said "cool" and just look at the look on his face at that moment. he seems to be smiling through force small thing, but still (sorry if something is wrong, I used Google translator)
