Or perhaps it starts by legitimate spiritual events that millions of people believe in. Of course, you’re a nonbeliever-I should expect that you believe yourself to know everything. That must be why you not only have to scorn your creator, but also his followers who aren’t harming you in the slightest by believing.

@@kevindarkstarmeh humans are humans, absolute power corrupts absolutely, yadda yadda. Even serving a great purpose there will always be humans who use morality and their position of power for their own ends or justify horrific deeds with a greater purpose. Whether god is real or not doesn’t change that. Modern for lack of a better word “wokeism” is similar to religion in many fundamental ways and just as similarly people commit atrocities justifying it with their belief and ideology. Same with nationalism although I’m not sure I would equate it with religion. Personally, I think there is a creator, a god of some sort that set this all into being. Whether this god has any resemblance to the abrahamic god I’m not sure and I don’t subscribe to a particular one. However, what we know of our reality and universe so far seems to point to some sort of plan or for lack of a better word “programming” as everything seems to be incredibly improbable yet present. Though I suppose after billions upon billions of years there are plenty of chances for seemingly impossible events to take place, but it all came from nothing there had to be some force behind creation. Idk at this point I’m just speculating and ranting. I just try to be a good person not so much out of fear of eternal damnation or reward but I feel something is likely to come of it.

@@kevindarkstarpeople thoughout history have been drawn to power and will use "power" for their own evil means. They clearly were hypocrites and killed and persecuted true believers as well because of it along with anyone that didnt "fall in line" with their religion. Tis the problem with following the church vs the actual scripture. Those in power tend to become corrupted by that power.
